Hotel Villa Europa

We booked this stay because we noticed the breakfast area had view on the lake and had a big pool. We booked a basic room which was located underneath the breakfast area. From 7am we had a lot of noise from the staff prepping the breakfast and guests arriving. The parking lot was constantly reserved and we never had the chance to park there. I think the ones that complain get a spot. There is parking 5min walk further from the hotel. Staff is very friendly and the breakfast has everything you need. The pool has an incredible view. Lots of screaming children though so dont book if you want to rest.

Superb hotel, there were 8 of us in total with all different room types / all of them spotlessly clean. The staff could not be more helpful. Lovely selection at breakfast and super views from the breakfast terrace. It’s about a 7 min walk into the small town and yes it is a steep hill home but it’s not too long! I would return in a heart beat :-)

The moment you walk into this hotel you know it’s family owned and run. The hosts are fantastic, the rooms great and the breakfast superb (and full of home made delights - your unlikely to need lunch!). It’s a 10 minute walk down to the waterfront for restaurants.

Superb holiday. Hotel is perfect, amazing views of the lake, especially from the terrace. Excellent breakfasts, huge range of choice, and attentive staff. Pool is set in lovely peaceful location. Spotlessly clean throughout. 5 minute walk to the lovely town centre down the path. Good range of restaurants and ice cream shops The owners are friendly and super helpful. Looking forward to going back!

We have been to Hotel Europa maybe 8-10 times over the last 15 or more years. The hotel, and it's accompanying Campagnola appartments, are run by three sisters and their families and staff. Lago di Garda is a beautiful lake, attracting many visitors, but Gargnano is lovely and quiet, just set off from the main road. The reason we have returned so often is the absolutely wonderful service and attendance we receive at the hotel. Sylvan, Liliana and Domellia are so caring and polite - they can't do enough for you. They take a personal interest in you and your life and family. The staff are efficient and will go out of their way to help you in any way they can... Hugo... Giangcomo... Sylvia and the ladies that clean and change the linen and those that attend to the citrus and rose gardens of the Campagnola. Rooms are spotless, the breakfast is gorgeous, tasty, healthy and plentiful and you can sit outside on a covered verandah to enjoy it with a beautiful view of the lake and Monte Baldo. They have a small private pool accompanying the apartments just across the road, where you can sit and relax for hours. We would highly recommend this place to stay - we cannot fault it in any way. Although it is 3 star - we would unhesitatingly give it 7 star rating for unrivalled personal attention, cleanliness, wholesome food and relaxation... if you want a rowdy, bustling hotel with noisy night-life, this is about as far removed from that as possible! But don't tell too many about this place, it's our secret getaway!

The hotel is an amazing location overlooking Lake Garda. We stayed here for a few days in July and had to come back in August for another few days. Service is amazing, great family run hotel . We had two different rooms, both sides of property. Amazingly clean and comfortable and very quiet. The room (2) overlooking the lake was beautiful. The first night we slept with doors opened and watched a huge thunder and lightening show, with some much needed rain. Breakfast room each morning was superb. The quality of food was exceptional. The pool is located a short walk from the property in a huge garden. Again a great spot and perfectly maintained. As we were traveling by ferry , our hosts drove us right to the stop. Very much appreciated with heavy bags.
