Hotel Villa Florida & Suite Apartments

What a delicious place to be for a short holiday, we spend 7 days in this lovely place, and we enjoyed every second of it. Everything is pure luxury and gives you the feeling to relax and enjoy your time. We will come back for sure!! Highlights are the comfortable beds, beautiful gardens and the best breakfast i ever took, with the great views over lake garda.

My wife and I stayed in Hotel Villa Florida for a week in August 2024. The property is conveniently situated and easy to find. The hotel, grounds and views are amazing. The welcome we received was first class and the staff could not have been anymore friendly. They were so helpful throughout our stay. The room/suite we stayed in was immaculate, spacious and had very effective air conditioning if required. The balcony views of Lake Garda were simply beautiful. The breakfast is served on a patio area either outside or in a covered area. Breakfast was buffet style and there was a wide choice of cooked food, breads, fresh fruit etc. (continental style)-the choice is yours. For those who want it, you can pre-order from a limited lunch menu. The hotel caters for those requiring a gluten free diet. As the majority of guests are away throughout the day, the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant facility during the day. Restaurants, cafes and coffee shops are widely available in each of the towns around the lake. Free, secure parking is available and it’s only a short walk to the hotel reception. Overall, we could not fault this hotel. It is a first class place to stay and we will book it again when we visit the area. For a short break or longer holiday, you will not be disappointed.

Very friendly and accommodating staff was overwhelmed with the kindness of the owners of the hotel the location was easy to get to breakfast was fantastic. Could not ask for better place to stay. We will definitely return one day. Room was fantastic well decorated and very very well kept

This hotel is one of our all-time favorites. We will be going back and back again! It is family owned and run - led by Gianmario Cipani with relatives serving multiple functions everywhere. They are lovely people. Every aspect of the hotel reflects great care and pride. The rooms are large and comfortable and the views are amazing - straight out over the pool and trees to Lake Garda. Their breakfasts are so good, we never ate lunch. Excellent restaurants are within walking or easy driving distance. Do not miss Restaurant Il Giglio - best seafood ever - five minute walk. And a four minute drive to Acquisto in Maderno - next town north. We could rave on, but you get it. Go, enjoy, and please be as pleasant and enthusiastic as the Cipanis are.

This hotel is beautifully situated in its own grounds with spectacular views over Lake Garda looking on to isola del Garda. We were welcomed warmly by the Alessandra and accompanied to our poolside room. This had its own generous private patio area and the bedroom was spacious, fully air conditioned and spotlessly clean. The hotel also has secure, free parking in a range of attractive sheltered bays. The hotel is situated on a terraced site with the Belvedere breakfast a terrace boasting panoramic views over the lake. Our room was by the pool which is large with plenty of sun loungers and parasols as well as a poolside bar area. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable and the bed covers were just the right weight, along with the air conditioning, for a good nights sleep. The room was spotlessly clean and room service was thorough freshening up our room while we had breakfast. We were very impressed with the hotel. Breakfasts were served on the beautiful terrace with fresh flowers from the garden and beautifully set tables every morning. The range and variety of food offerings was extensive with every taste being catered for, from savoury to sweet and everything in between. The staff are friendly but not intrusive. On my birthday they brought me a lovely cake/ dessert with a candle and a little bag of sweets. We took a few trips during our four night stay at Hotel Florida however we were always happy and relieved to be back at the hotel as the heat was quite intense while we were there ( temperature was in the low 30s) and we appreciated the cool comfort of our lovely room and the extensive pool which never felt too crowded. The hotel has a pleasing Belle Epoque theme and there is an interesting mural depicting a WW2 bunker, legacy of the last war. The whole area has an interesting history and while Hotel Villa Florida does not date back to the 1920s to 1940s, it pays tribute to this most interesting of historical periods. It is a short walk ( 3/4 mile) into Gardone Riviera where you can catch a ferry to Malcesine or Desenzano or Sermione. Equally there is the renowned André Heller Gardens to visit. There are numerous restaurants, both on the Lungolago (promenade) or in Gardone Sopra ( the upper village) picturesque cobbled streets. A very relaxing stay. We definitely plan to return.

Amazing hotel. Beautiful grounds on the lake. Great place to stay when visiting the town and surrounding cities. The staff were very accommodating and the room (we had suite 508) was spacious with amazing views. You can walk to center of town (about 20 minutes, but it’s a beautiful walk). But the grounds and the pool were gorgeous, drinks and food were reasonably priced. Would definitely return.
