Decent and nice hotel. Caters to many couples and families who bring along their pet dogs etc. Seen like this is their specialty. Only thing we found strange was that they charge a hefty fee to use the swimming pool, even for hotel guests. The air conditioning also appears less than ideal, being fixed in terms of the temp setting. You cannot change or adjust it- which is not good

Seeking to spend a few days on the Korean Seaside, we booked on short notice 2 nights in an Oceanview Double at Seamarq. Overall, we had a wonderful, very relaxing time: we particularly enjoyed - the spacious, beautifully designed and functional room and lobby area, which truly provides a sense of space and an extension of the hotel space into the sea - the absolutely stunning 5th floor pools area, which was never really crowded and also stayed open despite some minor rain on our first day: comfortable sunbeds, generous opening hours (06:30 - 22:00, great) and good service by the mostly very young crew up here - the nice ocean side loungers, even though we still find it awkward that there is (at least officially) a 1.5 hour limitation to the use of the sunbeds (though at least during our stay this did not seem to have been enforced) - the piano player who brought a serene, peaceful atmostphere to the lobby every night, and the Lobby Bar with an excellent drinks, tea and small food selection - the thought-through room design, incl. the practical wet clothes hanger with clips to secure any item, and the Nespresso machine, tea pot etc. - the overall good selection and tastiness of the food at breakfast and at the buffet dinner (which we only joined once) To be among the very best hotels, Seamarq needs to fix a few things - the setup and food presentation of the breakfast / dining room is more reminding of a low-end, family vacation style: relatively crammed seating, presentation of the food buffet is without love (though the have a great choice - it's more how it's presented), and erratic service (e.g. on first morning nobody cleared used dishes from our breakfast table, while today this was done promptly every time...). - while there is a wonderful beach with the hotel's sun loungers, there are no beach towels available: this is the first time ever around the world we experienced this. Why not provide the same service as at the pool (where those are freely available)? - as others wrote, the elevator availability and waiting time is a real issue - with only 3 elevators that are also partly used by staff to deliver luggage wait times are often excessive. All these were not significantly spoiling our experience, and we would definitely be back here if staying in the area - though it would be easy for the hotel to improve on some of the items above. Overall a wonderful place to stay if in Gangneug, and wanting to be at (or better above :-) ) the sea

La ubicación para ver el océano es fantástica. Se nos quedaron 2 noches en la habitación con vistas al océano y vistas al lago. Asegúrese de preguntar si hay una habitación en la esquina. La habitación es muy limpia y acondicionada. El personal del hotel es muy cortés y rápido con las peticiones. La vista es una de las 5 estrellas que merece este hotel.

The room was excellent, huge, clean, and furnished. They also had small kitchen, microwave oven, big fridge, and a washing machine! It’s good for those who want to stay for over 2-3 nights with a friend. You can cook a small meal or throw a little night time party. The place is best for long holiday especially New Year.

La ubicación es buena, pero la habitación es como esa. Bellanda es demasiado sucia. Y el personal masculino es tan desagradable. Cuando llegué, dije primero hola, pero no respondí. Es lo mismo cuando me voy. ¿Qué es eso? El mar aquí es hermoso, pero casi todos están prohibidos de nadar. Pude nadar sin embargo. No creo que volveré a usar este hotel

La ventaja es
La ubicación del hotel es buena, fácil de encontrar y hay edificios altos cerca.
Fue fácil de encontrar porque no había nada allí.
Fue agradable que hubiera muchas toallas del tamaño adecuado.
La habitación es más grande de lo esperado y hay tiendas de conveniencia de todo tipo cerca.
Vi una cafetera en la habitación, pero no vi un microondas en el lobby, habitación o pasillo, creo que hay algo en el piso 6, pero no he estado allí.
La desventaja es
En primer lugar, hay demasiado polvo.
Personas sensibles al polvo debido a alergia al polvo.
Eso es cierto, pero es un poco raro porque todavía se puede ver el polvo. Vale 100.000 wones;;
Y no creo que hayan cambiado el colchón desde hace mucho tiempo.
Era un colchón duro, pero incómodo porque sólo cabía donde había mucha gente acostada, la almohada también era incómoda, por lo que me dolían el cuello y los hombros por las mañanas.
Entré después de las 9 de la noche y salí a las 10:30, así que pude dormir solo un día.

KK6262JT_La habitación era muy buena, pero no me gustaba la habitación. El desayuno no estaba abundante porque se operaba con reserva cero y era mejor comer a 5.000 ganancias por persona para un evento. ㅋㅋ No es un bufete maravilloso, pero está bien equipado con café, leche, arroz y sopa, huevos abrasados, salsa, saladas, pan, mini croissants, etc. El cuarto y el baño están limpios y bien equipados con toallas de pasta dental y toallas. La vieja foto en el lobby también fue agradable.

UUsuario invitadoOur check-in was pretty straightforward, no surprise since we stayed here in the past, staff are pretty cold and disinterested, not rude, just cold. My family enjoyed the last trip so we returned. Our room was as expected, with one exception, the mini kitchen was supplied with utensils, and pots and pans previously, not anymore. The hotel has an interesting HVAC system, the twin suites have a master bedroom loft, and adjacent bed over looking the ocean, very beautiful and relaxing, unfortunately the hotel switched the A/C off and put the heating system on, this made the loft area very warm, I tried to adjust the multiple thermostat controls, but was unaware the AC main was off. The in room phone system was turned off, so the only option was to trek up to the main desk. The front desk clerk and I went back and forth with translators, till I got the Heating system information. I thanked the clerk and headed back to reverse the thermostat settings which did help, along with leaving the glass door to the ocean patio open. Crisis averted, the sounds of the ocean was blissful. The next day we returned to a nicely cleaned suite until I noticed a large piece of chewed gum left on the display shelf, trust me it was gross, I asked my family if anyone left this? I knew the answer before asking, no one in my family are gum chewers. It then became clear the someone in house cleaning left it there, never seen that before on all my travels. When checking out I mentioned the AC/Heater issue as well as the chewing gum issue, and to no surprise to me, there was no interest, discussion or maybe even a halfhearted we apologized for the inconvenience? Nope not at Sun Cruise, the clerk just motioned for the next person in line, I actually laughed, shook my head a little and headed out the door. The one positive thing we took away was, we unanimously decided to never return to Sun Cruise,

CCayaThis was a budget motel in Gangneung, and everything about the place seemed poorly conceived. Room was cold in winter, but the heated blanket on the mattress had two temperatures: scorching and off. The blankets had stains on them and the whole room reeked of cigarettes. There was even a lighter on the table seemingly to encourage it.
The electrical plug situation was incredibly inconvenient, as there weren’t many free outlets and the few that existed were located on the other side of the room from the bed. The bathroom was absolutely freezing, and the location of the shower head was between the bathroom sink and a shelf, requiring you to stand sideways in order to have the water hit you.
I get that you get what you pay for and this was a budget hotel, but I still think the hotel was overpriced for what you got. Doubtful I’d stay here again

JJIYEONEl jefe era tan amable y se volvió a la caldera antes de entrar en la habitación.
Es agradable tener sal y sal de hierba de pimienta sal de soja y cargador en el primer piso.
¡Netflix en la habitación también está disponible y el jacuzzi fue bien utilizado!
Creo que fue el mejor alojamiento que he ido a Gangwon-do.

JJensDas Hotel liegt fußläufig zum Strand, sowie diverser Restaurants und Convenience Stores. Die Anreise war vom Bahnhof aus allerdings nur mit Taxi möglich (ca. 8000 Won).
Die Zimmer sind sauber und gepflegt, allerdings fehlte mir persönlich ein richtiger Bettbezug. Im Zimmer gibt es einen Kühlschrank, einen Fön und Pflegeprodukte. Einen Wasserkocher gibt es nicht. Auf dem Flur gibt es eine Mikrowelle.
Der Service war für mich kaum spürbar. Die Rezeption ist durch ein Fenster verschlossen und wenn man etwas braucht oder wissen möchte, muss man klingeln. Wir standen während unseres Aufenthaltes mehrfach am Fenster, haben geklingelt und gewartet, aber niemand kam.

La habitación/apartamento es muy acogedor y bien equipado, y hemos pasado mucho tiempo en la habitación porque no dejó de llover todo el tiempo que estamos allí.
Algunas cabinas de ropa serán agradables, y quizás otra o dos sillas para el área de estar.
