"Nos encantó esta casa colonial a las afueras de Colombo. Es muy exclusiva y el trato es super exquisito. Mantiene su estructura original y tiene una piscina central muy bonita. Se respira tranquilidad y calma. La comida es excepcional y abundante. No está al lado de la playa pero es facilmente accesible en tuk tuk. Sin duda muy recomendable y volveremos seguro! Ayubowan!"

"My partner and I stayed here for 1 night before my flight, it was a really beautiful location, really peaceful, you didn't need to worry about parties or loud noise happening next door. Great vibes. Gorgeous property to relax. 🕊 A/C and hot water are perfect. 😍 Beds and pillows are super comfy. Fresh towels provided. 🙏🏼 Airport is 18mins away. 3kms for ATM. The only problems we had were MOSQUITOES ahhh soooo many of them, and there is no fan to help keep them away... ! Really hard to sleep especially with all the hospitalisations and deaths happening right now in Colombo from them 😭 And also the kitchen was unusable. Very dirty cupboards. The whole house was very dusty but I think that is due to the people who stayed before. Also we organised an early check-in for 12pm so that didn't give them much time to make it fresh.. (sorry!) The host was really kind and understanding when we had a problem with the booking, as there was only 1 option when I booked the place and so I was very confused when he told me it wasn't booked correctly ... thankfully I confirmed it beforehand so he was understanding about that 🥹 I would totally stay here again! I'll just make sure I have a mosquito net next time 😂"

"Mi estancia en el Hotel Wallawwa fue excepcional. Desde el momento en que entré, quedé encantada con sus instalaciones, decoradas con un estilo contemporáneo muy bonito y lleno de detalles que crean un ambiente acogedor y sofisticado. En cada zona común hay música suave que complementa perfectamente el entorno, y las salas de estar están decoradas con un gusto impecable. La habitación fue simplemente extraordinaria: espaciosa, cómoda y con un aromas que me fascinó desde el primer instante. La cama muy cómodo. El baño, también amplio, era un verdadero oasis, y lo mejor de todo fueron los jabones, con olores refrescantes. Una mención especial merece el Z Spa. Probé el masaje, que es absolutamente imprescindible, salí como nueva. Además, participé en el programa Recharge, de bienestar, que incluyó sesiones de Vikasa Yoga, baños de sonido y Reiki. Recomiendo dedicar al menos tres días a este programa, es una experiencia revitalizante que vale la pena. La comida fue otro punto fuerte: deliciosa y presentada con mucho esmero. Aunque el servicio es pausado, esto contribuye a disfrutar cada momento de la experiencia gastronómica. El personal, siempre atento y servicial, se asegura de que cada detalle de la estancia sea agradable. Pero para mí, la joya del hotel fue sin duda la piscina. La vegetación que la rodea es simplemente espectacular, creando un ambiente de tranquilidad. Recomiendo el Hotel Wallawwa sin duda, es el lugar perfecto para relajarse y recargar energías. ¡Espero volver pronto!"

"Location: A private, peaceful and relaxing central location, away from the busy towns and streets outside- only 30 mins out of the airports, 45 mins to Colombo and close to local train stations. Stand outs: Wet Water is to commended for its affordability, incredibly comfortable beds, nicely air-conditionend, chilled rooms and impeccable cleanliness.. well beyond our expectations of a 3-star accommodation! The surrounding nature and peacefulness of the resort was a breath of fresh air! Food: The food at the restaurant was delicious and prepared to true, Sri Lankan style, with lots of variety. Continental options are available on request. Beautiful view overlooking the lake. Wonderful chef and staff. Thank you: A big thank you to Lahiru and all the staff who were so obliging and always wanting to help make our stay comfortable. And finally.. We loved supporting a local place and hope more tourists come by. We know we will be back again! "
