This beautiful stone villa (220 sq m) is located in a panoramic position, overlooking the typical Tuscan countryside. Located just 1 km from Gambassi Terme, a medieval village in the heart of Tuscany, set between Florence, Pisa and Siena, the villa is on two floors and has a large fenced garden (700 sq m), where there is a beautiful swimming pool (4x8 m, depth 130 cm, open from May to September), and a barbecue.
The villa is cosy and furnished in the typical Tuscan style. Entrance on the ground floor where there is a large living room with fireplace and Sat-TV, a dining room, a kitchen (4 burners, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, kettles, moka pot, American coffee machine, pod coffee machine, microwave oven, fridge with freezer, small oven), and a bathroom with shower.
On the first floor there are 3 double bedrooms (one of which can be made into two beds), a further double bedroom with an added single bed and 1 bathroom with shower.
Facilities: Air conditioning in all bedrooms, Wi-Fi, 2 hairdryers, private parking. Also on the premises: fire extinguisher, first emergency kit.
To reach the property by car there is a 400 m stretch of dirt road (easy).
Distances: Gambassi Terme (supermarket and shops) 1 km, nearest restaurant at 600 m, Certaldo at 10 km, San Gimignano 16 km, Volterra, 25 km, Florence 60 km, Pisa 65 km, beaches of Cecina 60 km, Siena 56 km.
Price includes gas, water, electricity, final cleaning, air conditioning, bedlinen and towels, cot, Wi-Fi. Pet allowed.

Schönes Haus mit Pool
Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in dem Haus. Wir haben den Brötchenservice genutzt und Barbara, unsere Vermieterin hat uns super Tipps gegeben für Weinprobe, Strand und lokale Spezialitäten, sie spricht perfekt deutsch. Der Pool liegt Richtung Osten, daher leider kein Sonnenuntergangsfeeling. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet, wir haben nichts vermisst. Wir hätten nachts gerne mal durchgelüftet aber die Fenster haben leider keine effektiven Fliegengitter, daher ist durchlüften unmöglich wegen der Moskitos. Es gibt zum Glück Klimaanlagen in den Schlafzimmern, auch wenn uns diese dann manchmal zu laut war. Der Nachbarshund hat uns morgens um 6:00Uhr geweckt, da wäre mir ein Hahn lieber gewesen. Wir waren mit ingesamt 5 Personen im Haus, es war daher reichlich Platz. Die hohen Räume sind wirklich schön eingerichtet. Eine Klimaanlage im Untergeschoss gibt es nicht, ist aber auch nicht nötig da es immer sehr angenehm ist selbst bei heißen Außentemperaturen. Der Pool ist perfekt und nicht zu tief, da konnte auch unsere 7-jährige Tochter gut stehen. Die Liegen und Schirme sind robust und bequem. Man benötigt die Schirme eigentlich nur kurz zum Frühstücken, danach hat man ausreichend natürlichen Schatten durch die typisch-toskanischen Bäume. Tolle Aussicht Richtung San Gimignano.

Erholsamer Urlaub
Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen. Das Haus liegt am Ende einer ruhigen Strasse, wodurch dort absolute Ruhe herrscht. Es war sauber und hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und auch verabschiedet. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war unkompliziert und jederzeit möglich. Der Pool wird täglich von einer sehr netten Dame gereinigt und man hat die Möglichkeit, sich von ihr stets etwas mitbringen zu lassen, wie z.B. Brot. Das Grundstück ist vollständig eingezäunt, was mit Hund natürlich von großem Vorteil ist. Der Garten ist sehr groß und schön gestaltet. Wir können diesen Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Wunderbar!
Wir haben in der Villa Edi zwei Wochen als Familie mit 2 Erwachsenen und 3 KIndern (13, 15 und 17 Jahre) Urlaub gemacht. Alles war wunderbar! Angefangen von der liebevollen Begrüßung, über die herrliche Lage des Anwesens bis hin zum tollen Zustand von Haus, Garten und Pool. Städe wie Florenz, Siena, Volterra etc. sind unkompliziert auch im Rahmen eines Tagesausfluges zu erreichen. Absolute Highlights der Unterkunft sind sicherlich der herrliche Pool, das wundervolle Panorama, ein großer Grill (der gerade auch im Sommer genutzt werden kann) und die klimatisierten Schlafzimmer.
