We took a group of visiting friends to Castello di Meleto's tour and tasting four times during September and October this year. Each time, Enrico was our host and he made the experience wonderful. He is knowledgeable about the viticulture, the wines, the castle's history and led an inspiring tasting of the wines with a generous salumi platter which educated us immensely. Highly recommended!

We had a very nice experience with a guided tour and lunch. It’s a smaller but very nice and familiar vineyard with a great atmosphere. Our guide, Enrico, was very kind and the staff were very helpful. If you are looking for a nice tour in relaxed and beautiful landscape you will not regret it.

We strongly do not recommand this castel as they do not honor their commitments. They cancel reservations confirmed weeks before, should they get a best offer inbetween. Check other great castels around.. you will enjoy smoothlier your trip!

We stayed here for 2 nights on our road trip. We were not disappointed. Absolutely stunning venue, keeping the character of the castle with some modern tweaks. The room was outstanding with amazing views over the hills. We did the wine tour and learnt lots from our guide Giacomo who spoke very good English. Very knowledgeable and passionate about wine and gave a thoroughly enjoyable experience and talked about the different grapes they use from different fields and the different techniques which was incredibly interesting. The wine there is beautiful and for a small fee we were able to ship a box of 6 bottles home to the UK as we couldn’t take them on the plane. Would highly recommend and is on our list to return.

We only stayed one night at the Castello di Meleto, but enjoyed it very much. The best part is of course the fantastic castle itself, surrounded by the beautiful vineyards. We stayed in a castle room and had everything we needed. The tour through the castle and wine tasting is definitely recommended. The only thing: We recommend to bring mosquito protection as we had quite a few inside and outside. Would definitely stay again!

We will never forget our stay here. We got married here with all of our friends and family after having it postponed 2 years in a row due to covid. We have stayed here twice now, second time we stayed in the Gaiole room and it was utterly perfect, huge room, comfortable bed, amazing shower and bathroom. The castle itself is incredible, as well as the grounds, swimming pool and staff. Breakfast was lovely and was served in the castle too. We felt as though we were in a fairytale the full weekend. We highly recommend this venue for a wedding or just an overnight stay. Our guests have said they have never been somewhere so beautiful and will literally never forget it. Thanks again!

What an amazing experience we had ! The castle is in a beautiful surroundings, plenty of wild living animals as wild boar , phasans , lizards , deers !! Such an experience!! Our twins loved to see animals just walking in vineyard! I can’t even describe the view !! I just would love to take this views with me home :) the staff were all very friendly and helpful.. everything was clean & tidy !! The gardens amazing ! Our breakfast was superb!!! Plenty to choose from lovely local cheeses to meats , eggs , cakes , fruits and of course Italian coffee!! Really good vines !! You don’t have to live in castle , you can come just to visit during the day and do some wine tasting !! Our family rooms were big & very comfortable! All bed linens white cotton, towels was changed daily . We loved the feeling that it was no restrictions, you can walk anywhere you want in a Castle & surroundings! Castle has two swimming pools !! The swimming pools with a Toscana style view !! Absolutely beautiful!!! If you would ask me what was missing? Only the restaurant for evening meals :) we so much enjoyed being in the castle that did not even wanted go out for evening , would really prefer to sit and eat there !! Overall everything was just perfect to us !!! Grazie mille 🙏

Ci siamo regalati un tour del Castello ed una degustazione di 4 vini. Gabriele ci ha guidati con passione e preparazione nella visita della struttura raccontando storia ed aneddoti del luogo con garbo e simpatia. Al termine ha proposto i migliori prodotti della cantina catturando il favore dei visitatori. Ottima esperienza la consiglio.

Tornare a Castello di Meleto è sempre un gran piacere ma, essere accolti alla reception dalla signora Daniela , donna di grande professionalità e garbo, diventa il non plusultra. L'attenzione ai bisogni del cliente da parte di Daniela accresce i tanti punti di forza di questa struttura. Location incantevole,luogo perfetto per una pausa rilassante!
