It was great experience staying in this hotel. The location was fantastic as it is right next to the subway station. The staff were so friendly, particularly Yang Qing, so bubbly and helpful. The hotel view was amazing too. We can see wuyi square and white tower. Will come back definitely.

My stay at the InterContinental Hotel in Fuzhou, was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff’s professionalism and warm hospitality were evident, setting the tone for a luxurious stay. The highlight of my visit was the suite—it was simply amazing! Spacious, elegantly designed, and impeccably clean, the suite exuded luxury in every detail. The panoramic city views from the large windows were breathtaking, both during the day and at night when Fuzhou lights up. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the high-quality amenities, including the rainfall shower and plush bathrobes, added to the indulgence. The dining options at the hotel were also good. The hotel’s location in the heart of the city made it convenient to explore nearby attractions, and the concierge was helpful in providing recommendations and arranging transportation. Overall, my stay at the InterContinental Fuzhou was flawless. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, this hotel offers an unparalleled level of comfort and luxury. I can’t wait to return! Located a short walking distance from Metro Line 1 Shudou station, this hotel has everything needed for a great stay for first timers in Fuzhou (central and safe location with local food options; compact but well designed and furnished rooms with comfortable beds; delicious breakfast buffet with proactive and efficient restaurant staff; and good facilities including laundry room, tea shops and tuina massage centre within the compound). During our stay, we needed urgent help to manage a situation and the staff on duty (小邓) went above and beyond to sort things out and we can’t be more grateful to him and the front desk staff. Thank you again. Would definitely come back again in the future!

Very old school, but clean and in good location. Breakfasts ok (tasty, but nothing outstanding). Front desk doesn’t speak English, but that’s the case pretty much everywhere.

Reservé dos habitaciones para tres días. La ubicación es súper buena. Está en el centro de Dongjiekou, a solo unos minutos a pie de Daming Food Street, Alley 3 y 7th Street. Está ocupado pero tranquilo, y la estación de metro es 150. A metros de distancia! La habitación no es grande pero sí cómoda, limpia y ordenada. Sería mejor si hubiera un refrigerador. El efecto de insonorización de la habitación es normal y escuché el llanto de un niño en la habitación de al lado en medio de la noche. La relación calidad-precio general es bastante buena.

Beautiful and clean place. Wonderful staff who alway ready to help. Every morning, they will introduce a local breakfast dish to us. The spread of breakfast is good.

I booked this room for my mum and cousin for 3N4D stay. I chose this hotel for the location within the Sanfang Qixiang, and walking distance to foodie streets and the Ancestral Hall and Museum of Lin Zexu. The setting of the hotel was exactly what I was expecting, bringing us back to living in ancient Chinese house but with modern comfort. The service from the door concierge (2 gentlemen) to the reception counter (all staff and GM Assistant, Ms Qiu Guixiang) and room service (level 3 staff) was top-notch. The service we received was ever so warm and heartfelt, always able to accommodate our requests including laundry assistance and standing fan, helping us with our luggage and transport . I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a niche boutique hotel, and not an international hotel with full-range facilities.

Overall, I am shocked that a Mercure (Accor) hotel would be of this quality or standard. The hotel lobby & entrance did not not even have concierge services or a ramp to ease the luggage load, I had to carry 2 big luggages up a flight of 4 steps to enter the hotel lobby entrance. Room cleanliness was below acceptance, my suite & room windows were atrociously dirty, my room aircon vents were partly broken, other room and hotel amenities are unlike a 4 star business hotel that Accor brands would be! A saving grace was the hotel central location & the 2-3 reception staff that were quite helpful at times but failed in terms of providing any local area expertise or recommendations (food, attractions, etc.) well when asked. This is probably not suited for a tourist or leisure type hotel guest.
