Fabulous hotel! Great breakfast. Great service ! Great location

The hotel is in a perfect location, near the center of Funchal. Rooms are modern, extremely clean and the staff is literally the reason this hotel is so amazing. We had an amazing experience and can totally guarantee it is absolutely worth it. The breakfast is not provided via a buffet, you get a menu, but you are free to order as many things as you wish, no limit. It is a hotel for people that wishes to go around and discover Madeira. If you prefer places to relax, this is not the right place as there is no pool.

What a wonderful place to stay. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Henrique helped me with restaurant recommendations, spa at their sister hotel, taxi..... The room was a perfect size for me, a solo traveler, with a small balcony ( a chair would be a nice addition ), a safe box, a small refrigerator, and a water kettle. It had the most comfortable bed and a small sofa. There's a small gym in the basement. The adjacent restaurant Prima Caju served delicious breakfasts and healthy lunches. And of course the location was fantastic! On a street closed to traffic. And minutes away from all major attractions and old town.

We stayed for two nights in Caju - Le Petit Hotel in mid May. Wonderful boutique hotel in great location close to the old town. The hotel was spotless and our room was perfect and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast served both mornings. The Concierge (sorry.... can't remember your name!!} was most helpful when we arrived giving us lots of tips where to visit and because we arrived early he arranged to take our cases to the room while we explored the town. We would definitely visit again and would recommend this little gem of a hotel in Funchal. (Irish Couple)

Staff were delightful and so helpful and the whole atmosphere is wonderfully calm. The bed was so comfy it was like sleeping on a cloud! Spotless, tasteful and good sized room with spotless ensuite bathroom. Our room didn't have a terrace as we were on the top floor. We'd have liked a space to go and sit and have a drink in the evening (like a roof terrace or something) but it didn't really matter, there are lots of nice bars around.

A small hotel with a big welcome. The staff are very friendly, helpful and courteous. I cannot recommend this place enough. Our room was impeccably clean. Artisan chocolates left in our room on my birthday was a very appreciated gesture. I was genuinely sad to leave and really miss the wonderful breakfasts!

We spent 4 nights at the suite on the 3rd floor which we found very comfortable and spacious. The service at both the hotel and the restaurant is outstanding; the staff members are super friendly and go out of their way to help out their guests. The breakfast menu at restaurant Prima Caju offers many healthy and delicious choices. We wish to offer special thanks to Marco, Fabiana, Henrique, Claudia, Tatiana and Jessica for making our stay a very pleasant one. Looking forward to see you again!

We were so fortunate to have found Le Petit Caju in our search for our 5-night stay in Madeira. We adored staying in this little (20 rooms) boutique hotel & very much appreciated the beautiful, cozy, creatively designed hotel & mostly importantly the rooms which are modern & very well appointed. The beds & bed linens were so plush & comfortable. The bathroom was pristine. The view from our attic (4th floor) room was gorgeous. Le Caju location is perfect! Within walking distance to the waterfront, many restaurants, shopping & the cable car ride to Monte Palace Madeira Tropical Garden. The front desk staff as well as the restaurant service staff are exemplary. Charles is lovely and was so patient with us as we asked him many questions. He was so helpful. The breakfast service staff were also outstanding, so nice & welcoming each of the 4 mornings we enjoyed our breakfast. In all of our travels, we have never had such delicious breakfasts with such variety. Freshly squeezed “juice of the day”, great coffee, and eggs prepared to order were among the many healthy choices (included in cost of the room!) It was very clear that the people who work at Caju very much enjoy what they do & made our trip to Madeira that much more memorable & amazing. Well done all & thank you!

This is a small hotel but in a great location and not too far from the main sea front, the rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is place your order rather than the traditional buffet but this was absolutely fine and what we ordered tasted really good and of course fresh. The staff were very friendly and one day it was raining they offered us to borrow one of the hotels umbrellas which was very nice touch.
