When I arrived to the Homes 2 Suites in Fultondale, AL about 9:00 pm the room that I was assigned had two beds and one had no bedding. The bathroom was clean, but the counter tops, table, and appliances had grease and crumbs all over them. I had to clean the room myself and slept so terrible that night. The front desk clerk said that they did not have another room, so I had to stay in the unfinished room. The front desk clerk was kind enough to make the bed because I said that I do not sleep next to the AC. After he left, I noticed that the other bed had makeup at the head of the comforter. The room was dirty and the model of being below standards. Also, I could not watch television because the remote was not in the room. I called for a replacement remote, but it never arrived so I had to go downstairs to speak with the front desk clerk. He said that he did not call my room because I could have fallen asleep and then showed me a broken remote that he said belonged to room. Mindy the General Manager has not responded to my email or call attempts. The front desk clerk attempted to call her on 6/2, but she did not answer his call. This is the worst experience I’ve had at a Hilton brand hotel.
