This place shared the entrance that I-Hop uses...so turn in at the I-Hop sign. There check-in desk is on the building corner as you enter (note: they have two building). There's plenty of parking but you may have to walk a bit. Stayed here a couple weeks. Check-in was easy and everything seemed in order. My room was on the 3rd floor. The room/halls/buildings were pretty standard but were definitely showing that it was time to renovate. The front lobby is the exception to this as it was nice. The breakfast area is small. Breakfast items tasted horrible. I think their cook was trying to provide a "healthy" meal by preparing things turkey sausage instead of pork sausage...and the turkey sausage was nasty. I have no idea what the juice was...I think they bought some off brand cheap substitute...again, rank tasting. In short, skip the breakfast and eat in your room. Luckily, there are numerous places to eat at all within a couple miles should you choose to go out My room sufficed and included a full size fridge. It stopped cooling at one point but they repaired it within a couple days. My room also had a small 4 burner stove. The one big plus...it also had an oven! There was a pool, but it wasn't open for use yet. There's also a few gas grills for use. I used the exercise room several times. The machines are a little worn, but did the trick. I found it better to ride my road bike up to Woodward Park and beyond for exercise. My biggest complaint was about checking out. On check-in, I'd provided documentation for a tax exemption. I also filled out their paperwork. But the taxes were still on my invoice. I asked to speak to the manager and got some run-around dealt to me. But I held my ground saying I'll wait and wait. Eventually and through much effort, the manager removed the tax charges. My coworkers went through a similar ordeal. I have no major reasons to not stay here again. But I'll definitely try to get into other hotels before I stay here again.
