"Very nice people! Room was clean. Bed was a bit hard. There were three aphids on the curtains, scared my wife but after asking her if she remembered seeing all the pumpkin patches coming in. I told her it made sense that aphids were around. I would stay again."

"I'm trying to be generous with a 3 star rating but the bottom line is I'd probably not stay here again. The pros are my room seemed mostly clean, the bathroom less so. The shower was questionable because it's so old I couldn't actually tell if it was clean and I had to have the host come and turn it on, but he did so willingly and pleasantly. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were terrible. The a/c, Wi-Fi, TV and fridge all worked fine. The cons were this motel is an old, a very old, Travelodge and it looks old and very tired. I was just stopping for the night on a road trip so it did the trick but I think this motel should be $10 or $20 cheaper. No coffee in the room or otherwise and it's on a loud and busy main thoroughfare."

"Great location, right off the interstate so easy to get to Lexington or Louisville. We stayed here before the Derby and it was a great location for visiting the various horse farms in the Lexington area. The downtown area had cute shopping and good restaurants. Rooms were clean, common areas clean as well. Staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was ok, would have preferred just scrambled eggs instead of breakfast sandwiches but they were ok. Parking was easy. It does back up very closely to train tracks and they are pretty busy. Bathroom was clean, water pressure a little low. Decent stay, would stay again."

"We stayed at the Ashbrook with three other couples for 4 nights and we were all dissatisfied. The location was great and the property was clean, but there was no staff on site. We were issued a key code in an email that asked us to let them know if we needed anything. But no one responded to our requests for 48+ hours. There was coffee service in the room for one morning but no tea or hot water and no coffee or tea available in the lobby. No microwave and no refrigerator. Due to overbooking, our king room was “upgraded” to a suite with two queens. It was an attic room with ceilings and beams so low that my husband had to constantly stoop to avoid hitting his head."
