Sesta Terra Natural Resort

Sesta Terre resort is set in a wooded area on hillside in Framura with easy access to Cinque Terre and surrounding area. We stayed in one of the cottages which provide privacy from others with their own sitting areas to enjoy the outdoors and glorious views of the Ligurian Sea and coastal villages of Sete and Framura down below. The pool - a highlight for me - is located within the resort near the tented accommodation, a short (5 minute) walk from cottages. Staff were professional and friendly. The on-resort restaurant was lovely from the helpful and attentive wait staff, to the delicious meal and perfectly-paired wine, to the setting overlooking the sea. The regular shuttle service which is included (no additional charge) was also excellent which meant we could keep our car parked and easily take the train to villages along the coast.

Sesta Terra Natural Resort is a stunning resort with panoramic views of the Ligurian coast. It offers lovely cottages near the restaurant or tents a bit further away, but near the swimming pool. We chose the cottages which are extremely comfortable with great views from their large picture windows and wonderful porch. The restaurant also has unbelievable views and the meals are reasonable, although they could be improved. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the owner told us that he got the idea for the resort on a trip through the U.S. where he encountered “glamping” (i.e., glamorous camping). We were also given a delicious complementary tiramisu and two very nice glasses of champagne, since we were there for my husband’s birthday. We would definitely recommend this lovely resort.

Great views, but unfortunately mismanaged. 1. Lack of staff is evident from small things...: - Lady from the reception desk had to mop the floor herself in SPA before our visit there - Same person serving food at the SPA and at the pool 2. ...which translated in a jacuzzi nit cleaned diligently enough (although appearing clean at the first look, we noticed a dirty foam and discovered an area area under a corner pillow that remained untouched by the cleaner), rooms not properly BB cleaned (someone's panties were hanging on the towel rail in our room). 3. Restaurant manager is inadequate to the place and was very rude. This is unfortunate because there are no other places to eat nearby.

If you are considering booking this resort…just do it! It’s a little piece of paradise. We stayed on our honeymoon in a canvas lodge. Slept like a baby! Loved the sound of nature and the sea…very relaxing! The swimming pool area is lovely and we enjoyed lunch there twice. We are in the restaurant and the food was very nice. Above everything and adding to the beauty of the place is how wonderful the staff are. The young guy (blonde with tattoos) could not have helped more and spoke great English. We tried our Italian too. The breakfast staff, dinner staff, pool staff, cleaning people and the wonderful men who took us to and from the station each day are all just awesome! You made the end of our honeymoon wonderful and we will most definitely come back one day again!

Being back to the coast after a few years, we have chosen the location for some days of, rest, chill and explore. The cottage met our expectations, not super luxury, fairly basic but all available to enjoy the place between water and sky. And it gave us privacy and never ending views on the sea and 5-terre coastline. We decided quickly to leave our car on the parking and take benefit of the reliable shuttle proposed, whenever go to or return from Framura village, or train station which is a real comfort to explore the area or plan visiting neighbor villages and places. Breakfast service on the deck was a pleasure, very nice spread and modified offer each day. Dinner on top level exposed us to he environment like sitting on an outlook. Definitely the dinner price level is at the higher side (and for Framura situation certainly top level) while the package with wine, experience, service is also a comfort plus. For the leisure time, we used the pool and had a 10min walk to climb form the lowest of all cottages to the pool side. However, worth to enjoy the infinity in between the olive trees and dream under the sun. Make also use of the good quality and robust e-MTB rent and explore the hills around. Rest attentive when touring the gravel roads and paths around Monte Serro, the steeper the ascent the more downhill. Weather forecast should be more sunny than rainy, otherwise you might be limited in this location. However, if this is correct then no limit for enjoyable hours and days at sesta terra. We had a good time with you for all queries at the reception, for the breakfast or dinner service, during the shuttle rides, seamless experience on whatsapp communication or even when simply crossing or meeting you after work on the streets of Framura. We had the impression that you enjoyed to have us and we enjoyed to have you as hosts.
