Long house as you would guess from its name, is long in appearance and offers a large open plan living area, with high-beamed ceilings, wooden floors and under floor heating through out. Long Hosue was once a small pig farm and a small dwelling where a couple who were teachers lived in the 16th century when this property was apart of the ancient hamlet of Little Pinnock. Now, now we have converted it and at one end of the living area is a well-equipped kitchen while the dining area leads on to the sitting room with its log burning stove and large glass doors opening on to a paved patio with wooden garden furniture. Set in its own private garden, Long House also benefits a further 10 acres of land. The space Long House has 3 bedrooms. Master bedroom upstairs has king size with en suite. On the ground there is a twin bedroom with two zip link single beds that can be zipped together on request to make a Super King, So perfect for couples or children. The third bedroom has a single bed this room was once apart of a pig sty. Long House used to be a farm in the 16th century. There is also an area above the living space that has 2 low lying beds for older children or able adults. This is an open platform and not a bedroom. The ground floor also has a family bathroom with over bath shower. Kitchen living room with log burning stove, and dinning space, patio doors leading out the a terrace and gardens with BBQ and garden furniture. Once part of an ancient hamlet of little Pinnock, situated two miles outside Fowey, the rural setting and woods are the perfect place for kids to be kids, build dens and have their own Cornish adventure. We have often sat at the edge of the woods in the evening with a G&T and watched the wild deer and badgers at play while Kestrels hover lazily above. For dog owners it is paradise, your dog can have all the exercise it needs without leaving the grounds. Guest access Long House has its own private gardens and a lovely patio straight off the living space. Guests also have access to the woods and fields that are shared by the other two holiday homes on the 12 acre grounds. The gardens of the other to properties are private and not communal. Other things to note There are two other detached holiday cottages, each with private gardens, on the same estate. Parking outside the property We are pet friendly, pets are charged at £50.00 per pet per visit Long House is Self catering You are welcome to use the grounds at your own risk.About pets:Pets allowed: dogs less than 20 lbs per pet (limit 2 pets total).About checkOut:Check out before 10:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About checkIn:Check in after 5:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 18.About events:No events allowed.

Beautiful place Lovely location and beautiful cottage. Communication with owner and check in went smoothly. Only small criticism would be a cooker and hob upgrade and maybe a couple of rugs to help with the eco. Kitchen was well equipped, Dishwasher wasn't working correctly but we managed to fix it looks like the spinner had come loose. Would defiantly stay again.

Lovely, comfortable house Great house with lovely comfortable beds and bedding. Plenty of hot water for everyone and the dogs very much enjoyed the surrounding fields. A welcome pack eg milk, sugar, condiments etc., would have been appreciated and a little more local information would have been good
