I have never had so many problems with a hotel stay as I did for this one. From the time I checked in to the second I checked out I had multiple issues. Charging me an additional $100 for a debt card deposit(I used a credit card). The room didn’t look like it had been swept or mopped (found crumbs, dead bugs, hair ties, and lots of dirt). The room key only worked every 20 tries (not even an exaggeration). The dead bolt only locked AND UNLOCKED if you picked up hard enough on the door (huge safety thing in multiple ways) The shower curtain was not waterproof causing the bathroom to flood every shower, also apparent that this problem was frequent because the door was warped and didn’t close unless you slammed it. No do not disturb signs for housekeeping to let us sleep. Staff arguing regarding policy that they are only permitted to leave 2 towels in the room regardless of having 4 guests (were supposed to share??) (also an argument I had with multiple staff members every day of my stay) when I did get extra towels from the main office (because housekeeping says no) they are holy and written on with sharpie. On multiple occasions housekeeping entered my room and removed “extra” towels (clean towels) because I had more than 2… multiple time housekeeping entered the room to clean move our personal belongings but nothing appearing cleaned. Before checking out I stripped the beds to prep for housekeeping to find the bed that my family were sleeping on were completely covered in hair crumbs and dirt. All the front desk has to say is I’ll let housekeeping know to clean it better. As I’m checking out I’m told my deposit that wasn’t supposed to be charged won’t be returned for 5-7 days…. This whole stay was way to stressful and annoying for a vacation…
