Inn Leather Guest House-Gay Male Only

I was VERY disappointed with my two-day stay. I stayed in Room 10, in the back of the hotel. Room was dirty, had only one working light, which I had to get fixed. TV did not work, and again, had to have somebody fix it. Bathroom was very small and cramped. A couple good points. The pool was clean and quite warm. My bed was quite comfortable and linens were clean. I have stayed here before a few years back and had a much nicer room. but this time I was not at all happy with my visit. It would be nice for a day pass to enjoy pool and facilities, but I'll never spend a night here again.

We recently stayed at Inn Leather for four nights and enjoyed it. It’s nothing fancy but well worth the price. The pool area is fantastic for getting some sun and the other guests are friendly. Taco Bell, Starbucks, and Dunkin are nearby with other places are longer walk or short drive away. We would definitely stay there again.

Terrible! This place is a dump. It’s sad, small and is poorly maintained. My room was unsafe due to unsecured fencing, poor lighting, loud noises, an uncomfortable bed, dirty bedlinens and towels, bad water pressure and a lot of wildlife. During my stay I had several flee bites, mosquito bites and bedbug bites and I also developed an eye infection possibly due to the dirty towels. I needed to checkout two days early on. A five night stay. My room also had several safety and building code violations, including unlicensed construction, plumbing and electrical; unfinished tile work in the bathroom has. Whole in the tile and also a lack of safety bars to prevent slip and falls. A big sling in the middle of the room, makes a small room harder to use-it is hard to avoid always bumping into it, creating a fire hazard. In addition - it is poorly attached and may not have the ability to safely support a man with an average weight. Room is in terrible condition- with two lightbulbs missing and a tv that did not work. The remaining light bulbs in the room were fluorescent bulbs, which hurt the eyes. The air conditioner runs cold 24/7, and is installed using electrical tape to keep it in place. The location of the Inn Leather is isolated - and the only food options are unhealthy fast food outlets - within walking distance. Had to wait until evening for my room to be ready- while other rooms sat vacant. Because of being bitten multiple times - I had to check out early- only staying three of a planned six night stay. Upon checkout, Doug the manager emailed me a fake receipt that does not match the receipt confirmation I had received from ******* and does not match my credit card statement. There are much better guest houses in the Fort Lauderdale area that are cleaner and in better condition.

This was our first time at Inn Leather. We live in Fort Lauderdale and needed a break from work pressures, so we chose Inn Leather. The staff is great...very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and a good size for the price, which is 1/2 the price for what you get closer to the beach for the same thing. We used the Holiday Weekend in February to leave the computers at home and enjoy a weekend together and loved it. There are several good restaurants within walking distance of Inn Leather or many more within a 5-mile drive. We enjoyed it so much that we made our reservations for the same time next year before we left.

clean, comfortable room. convenient location near airport & shopping. staff very friendly & helpful. interesting atmosphere. enjoyed the fact that there was a full kitchen in my room. enjoyed pool & outdoor shower area. looking forward to returning in the future.
