Parco del Generale is a very comfortable and well maintained resort for couples and families. It is located within a short distance to Forio and the beach. Excellent restaurants are close by, the local island buses stop close to the hotel and take you everywhere on the island. The hotel owner and manager is incredibly helpful with overall island information and dining suggestions. The apartments are perfect.

Parco Generale has been one of the best B&B experiences that I’ve ever had. Not only are the rooms comfortable, clean, and in the perfect location (across from the beach & a 5 minute walk to the town centre and port) but the host, Paola, goes above and beyond to make the stay of each guest, a memorable one. Paola is kind, friendly and so welcoming to anyone who visits. From preparing breakfast, organising activities, and ensuring she hand picks the best things to do in Forio, your time spent here is guaranteed to be a memorable one. We have travelled many times to Ischia to different types of hotels. This time travelling with friends who were discerning enough to choose this amazing Bed and Breakfast. We booked 2 months in advance of our visit. Poala was the best host we have met throughout our extensive travels over 25 years ( and we visit Italy several times a year for work and holidays) . We were briefed on arrival and able to call Poala to ask questions about restaurants and she could not have been more helpful. English speaking it really helped those in our group who spoke little Italian. Poala recommended many places to us all fantastic food and great prices. Follow her advice ! We cannot say enough how much she helped to make our trip to Forio so amazing. This B&B has been very well thought out and we had tasteful newly decorated rooms with everything you could need. And we had front sea view which has a road between the seafront and the apartment block but you could barely hear this at night and not at all with windows closed. And it was relaxing sitting on the balcony in the mornings having our breakfast and drink before dinner watching the world go by. A wedding procession passed us by one afternoon it was lovely. Early morning swim in the sea just across the road recommended. A lovely position easy to park our large car and everything you need with town 5 minutes walk away. This is a little gem of a place and Forio also fabulous. And Poala is a 5 star 🌟 host.

Staying in Forio was made all the more special by deciding to book at Casa Vacanza. From the moment we arrived Paola our hostess took care of everything we could need. From restaurant recommendations, locations to visit and wine to pick, she made our 6 days truly individualised and special. The location itself is perfect, being so close to the beach and also the town centre. More importantly it is an oasis of calm with fruit trees and palms offering a sense of tranquility set against both sea views and the mountains behind with its lush vegetation. I cannot recommend staying here enough - we will definitely return and we have made a new friend in Paola - Grazie Mille per tutti - arrivaderci - a la prossima!!!!!!

Lovely location close to the beach When we arrived paola had a sheet of paper ready for us, showing us ( in her opinion ) the best restaurants, things to do and see etc which was very handy Pool is relaxing , not too big or busy which works great for relaxing Be advised you are asked to wear swimming caps, not the latex ones you find in the uk, they are comfortable and barely noticeable but some people would moan about it Room was found clean and everything like that Would stay again Shop is not as close as u think about 10mins walk in the heat also €40 cab from ischia porto Paola checks in on the text message as js very quick responding with any issues And gives u help setting up meals She will want u to go to montecorvo for rabbit, it is expensive but beautiful, if u can afford GO!

Where do we start, incredible service and hospitality from Paola. We instantly were given a descriptive overview of the best restaurants, places to visit etc. Paola was a dream just excellent customer service and basically like having your own personal assistant she booked all our restaurants, car hire, ordered amazing wine to our room!! We have had the best time and all thanks to our wonderful hostess.. grazia Paola xxxx💕 The accommodation is excellent, fantastic pool, views and proximity to the centre and beach too. This place did not disappoint we will miss you ischia
