HTO15332 - Rudding Park

We were really looking forward to dining here for my wife's birthday, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. There were an excessive number of flies in the restaurant, which made the meal uncomfortable and unhygienic, they were landing on pre-set tables that were yet to be used. It’s a real shame, but cleanliness and proper pest control are basic expectations. I hope this issue is addressed soon.

Just had the most fantastic overnight stay and roof top spa trip for my daughter’s 18th birthday. All staff were absolutely amazing. I can’t express my gratitude enough for the help I received from reception staff to secretly get the cake and balloons in and getting a present from spa shop and putting it in our room ready for when we returned from dinner. The room was beautiful and the roof top spa is incredible. We had the most amazing time. I can’t single out any one person as every member of staff was just so friendly and helpful and are a credit to Rudding Park. It is definitely our happy place and will be returning very soon.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent facilities and lovely location in parkland. Convenient bus service into Harrogate from outside entrance. Free wifi, power and good TV signal. Plenty of open spaces for kids with play areas.

The showers excellent very clean and water pressure really good . We went Monday to Thursday out of school holidays . So quiet and well priced . We went in a tent ( our first trip ) everything but the pub available. The staff super lovely. We decided not to use the pool . The gulf club is next to the park . Two things which would have been good , food available after 4pm ( the gulf club serves until then ) was not informed until too late . The other is to place tents especially if on high ground in a little bit more sheltered spot . ( a bit blowy) Wi-Fi worked well . Would go back again . Bus service a little random

The hotel is set in the most amazing grounds. On arrival we were greeted by a helpful and friendly member of staff who unpacked the car and showed us to reception. Then parked the car. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming and greeted us like family but professionally. Yes we had been there before and were returning for another amazing experience. The rooms are spacious, clean and well decorated , the bathroom is large with underfloor heating which is nice in the middle of the night if you have to go!!!. our room overlooked the garden with a patio and chairs. We visited the roof top spa which has many facilities to offer, pool, oxygen room, sunlight room, sauna steam room just to mention a few a must on a visit. Dinner was in the Clocktower restaurant... the menu keeps changing which is good, great variety of choice for all dietary requirements. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable the dining room is set in 2 areas one being a conservatory which is nice for breakfast when the sun is shining. Service is good, the food was excellent beautifully prepared . All in all a good stay and yes we will go back again its worth an hour drive to be spoilt.. By the way the beds are ooooh so comfortable ......

Riding outdoor pool is honestly one of my favourite places. When the weather’s nice, it feels like you’re on holiday. The pool itself is lovely, and there’s such a chilled atmosphere. The service is always great too. Richard in particular is so helpful – nothing’s ever too much trouble and he’s always got a smile on his face. The food is really good as well, lots of choice and everything tastes fresh and properly done. Can’t recommend it enough if you’re after a relaxing day out in the sun.
