Enjoyed stay. Bathroom needs to be upgraded. Pool needs to be heated

Beware of your receipt if you book through your app, when staying at this particular hotel. Rate charged was higher than rate given on the app. It took days and was an inconvenience to get this resolved. General Manager was NOT a pleasure to work with.

This is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. The service was absolutely terrible... the night manager was mean and unaccommodating... we were here for a volleyball tournament and our children were quietly (yes quietly) eating pizza in the lobby after their game and she called the SWAT team on them... no joke, 8 cops from the SWAT team showed up to make a bunch of little girls quit eating pizza and go to their rooms at 7pm. In the 30 or so vball events I've been to, I've never seen something like this. On top of everything else, the hotel itself was filthy... hair in the bathtub, dirty carpets, and a horrendous odor in the rooms. Stay somewhere else... ANYWHERE else.

Friendly staff, super clean room, comfy beds and quiet location. What more can you ask for?! This was my first stay there, but it will be my hotel of choice when I'm in the area from now on. Breakfast was typical, decent choices. Close to tons of restaurants and shopping.

I work with the Federal Government. I travel 32 plus weeks per year and always try to stay in a IHG Hotel. I will definitely need to vet my stays prior to arriving. This hotel started a 24 hour early check out charge. I booked the room thru my Fedrooms site, this allows me for early check out as we need to go to the next town early often. Because the Manger Alka was incompetent and could not find where it was booked thru Fedrooms and when I offered to show her my booking from the Government travel site. She refused to even look at it and held my federal credit card hostage until I paid out of pocket for the room. Mind you all this is at 9am the day before. She also refused to accept my IHG points. Not to mention I want to echo other reviews the place is dirty and out dated, add the completely rude and incompetent and blatantly greedy Manager I caution everyone to avoid this scammer. I will also make sure nobody in my agency. I hope karma bites you in your greedy rear!!

This Hotel was not a great place to stay. It was dirty & far from being clean. The shower head did not work & the room was really small. It is outdated & is in need of an upgrade. This Hotel is also overpriced.

Had ADA compliant room. It was on the third floor, furthest from the elevator and the entrance. Once to the room, I discovered that the pass-way from bathroom area to sleeping area had a slight glitch. My wheelchair and arms was a tight fit due to a wardrobe immediately at the entrance to the sleeping area (see photos). The bed was extremely high for someone handicapped as I. When I inquired about a room with a lower mattress. Answer - they are all the same, every room. Also, no recliners were available. I asked about the availability of a roll-away bed, I was told that the Foley fire department did not allow them! That was news to my son, a Gulf Shores Firefighter. I understand about occupancy restrictions, but there was nowhere for me to be able to lie prone. I cannot get up from the floor. I could not get from a wheelchair to a mattress 29"+ from the floor (see photos). Spent the most uncomfortable 4 nights sleeping upright in a low back side chair. I am incapable of lifting my legs upon a supplied ottoman.Twice went for "EXPRESS Start™ Breakfast" to find an extremely limited (two items) fresh hot breakfast offered. I was unable to contact corporate about this, but I did receive a call from a manager apologizing somewhat and informing me that the issue was now presented to the owners. I guess it remains to be seen if the issue has been addressed properly.

I booked and paid for room for my family via ***********. After booking the room I contacted the front desk to confirm receipt of the reservation and that a room was available. The front desk clerk confirmed that we had a room reserved. My family traveled 7 hours from Tennessee to Foley, arriving around 9:00 PM. When I went to check in the front desk clerk told me the hotel was overbooked and we should have received a call canceling our reservation. I didn’t receive a call. The front desk clerk offered no help in finding alternative accommodations. It is ridiculous that Holiday Inn allows their hotels to be overbooked and can cancel a reservation without notice, leaving families with young children stranded. If this is how “IMG Reward” members are treated, I won’t be staying at another IMG property anytime soon.

This property claims to have wi fi however I could not do my work because of the poor bandwidth. When I complained the front desk agent was sympathetic and because I stayed 3nights and credited my room for one night. Then the manager that also is the owner of the property changed my billing on my credit card and revoked the room credit. ***Dont stay there! They also have maids running the halls making noise early in the am.
