The hotel was perfectly located, made it so easy to walk to all of the places we wanted to see while in Florence. The owners were very kind and helpful during our stay as well. Our room was modern, comfy and we enjoyed the view and listening to the bells of the church during the day. Stick around during the afternoon for their happy hour! Fun time to meet some other travelers and enjoy a delicious cocktail or two.

This accommodation relies on old reviews and is not what it used to be. We were disappointed and it shouldn’t be sitting on a five star rating anymore. There is no breakfast, there is no happy hour, and there is little to no reception staff around. When they are around they are helpful, but this is a rare thing. They do not have things like tissues, or hair conditioner, or any shelving at all in the bathroom. The rooms are big and lack furniture so there are hardly any places to put your clothes unless you hang things. There are signs that the hotel is showing wear and tear - and needs some attention. (Large water stain on ceiling in our bathroom). Not 5 stars. I will say that overall the place was clean - and it’s in a good location. I’d give it 2 1/2 stars if it was available.

Well what can I say. I partner and I stayed here for 2 nights after staying in a hotel 3 nights before when he had a break in Florence. The place is stunning. The room ‘pepper’ we stayed in was beautifully decorated and the attention to detail was spot on. The bed was super comfy! The garden was also stunning with the most amazing decor and furniture and drapes that really gave it such a tropical feel. The touch of happy hour 6-7pm made the visit extra special as we had a free cocktail each every evening and they were delicious and tailor made if we wanted something that wasn’t on the menu. The hosts were amazing and made us feel extremely welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. The hospitality and warm welcome every time we saw them was so lovely. The hotel was in a very good location near places of interest. If you’re thinking of booking here, DO IT! If we visit Florence again, we will definitely be back!

Beautiful guest house with very helpful owners who couldn’t do enough for us. Our room was stunning- very spacious with a free standing bath, comfy bed and separate large bathroom, it felt very luxurious. The property is a 2 minute walk to the Duomo and yet it feels so peaceful and relaxing with a beautiful, quiet garden area to relax in. They also have a happy hour every evening at 6pm where they serve a complimentary cocktail with crisps and nuts to all guest and thereafter the cocktails are 6 euros. The cocktails were to a high standard- we loved the Moscow Mules! There is also a coffee machine with an array of complimentary cakes/snacks in the room which was useful when we headed out on an early day trip. On our last day we were able to leave our cases to collect later and when we returned the owners called a taxi for us and served us coffee and water in the garden while we waited. When we went to get the taxi we realised the owner had been waiting outside for the taxi to ensure we didn't miss it. Absolutely outstanding service- like staying in a 5* hotel. It really felt like a lovely home from home and at such a reasonable price we could not recommend enough.

We stayed here for two nights and really recommend it! The hosts are super helpful and welcoming - they gave us great restaurant recommendations with super useful info on each, provided a complimentary bottle of prosecco as it was our honeymoon and made the best cocktails we've had in a long time. We loved happy hour, such a great idea, delicious cocktails and to top it off one each free per night, all enjoyed in the terrace garden. The room was beautifully decorated, spacious with a really comfy bed. Great location down a pretty side street a stone's throw from the Duomo. Thanks for having us!
