Not close to the check in hotel. Had to lug 5 suitcases about 6 blocks down cobblestones streets through crowds of people. Room was very plain. Fridge did not really work. The bathroom had a step up and the shower step up was about 2 steps up. The shower was very skinny. I'm 5 foot and 115 lbs and had a hard time taking a shower in it, the shower head was on the middle of the shower. No shelf for your shower items, I had to put them on the shower floor. Housekeeping never restocked toilet paper, we ended buying some when we were out. They did keep our luggage for us at the check in hotel when we checked out and our train wasn't for a few hours. The location was really good, but if your looking for quiet this hotel is not for you. There is a small coffee area with cookies everyday. We walked everywhere, except to and from the train station, we took an Uber. Recommend going to the Accademia museum, wine window at Babae, Osteria Santo Spirito (make reservations!), the Ponte Vecchio bridge, Piazza de Michelangelo at sunset, City market, sit by the canal at Signorvino.
