Olle Hotel

A quiet, pleasant small hotel. Modern amenities yet still captured in early 1940’s environment. while located two blocks from main line railroad, town has quiet zone. this is perfect town for train watchers! Plenty of rocking chair on porch.

The Olle Hotel is charming. Our room was lovely and comfortable, and we enjoyed reading or talking while sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch. If you're in the area to visit the painted churches, the Olle Hotel is only about 15 minutes from Schulenberg.

Very clean hotel ,had a nice lobby, great hospitality, great service . very nice view in the dining area. Cute kitchen enjoy my stay. The location is relatively close to a diner and movie theater, along with a nice little ice cream shop nearby.

We stayed for two nights in the Tauch Room, and it was lovely. The hotel was so charming, and has a lot of public space and outside area (porch and balcony). The room was very comfortable, and was large with extra seating. The leather chair was so comfortable! Heather and her staff were super friendly. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

This was an average nights stay at a B&B. At arrival found out that there was an extra fee for credit card payments, I was never told over the phone or we would have brought a check. We were never told the stairs were so steep but I guess I should have expected it. The air conditioning unit was not working as well as it should. Room was nice, unlike the shower that had a shower head but not attached to the wall properly. There was a rusty nail where the shower head was hanging on. If you wanted to shower you would have to hold the shower head in one hand and use other hand to get soap and lather. We found out during our check in that the Hotel was in the final steps of being sold. I chose the B&B based on location and small business with personal customer service. With no owner on location there was NO personal customer service only staff cleaning. Disappointed and regret staying.

This an absolutely wonderful place. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The front porch was a great place to sit and unwind after a day of visiting the Painted Churches in Schulenburg. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed in a hotel room. Breakfast at Darlin's which is part of the stay was very good and just a few steps around the corner. If you're looking for a better option to the less than average chain hotels, this is your place! We will definitely return.
