Fiscardonna Luxury Suites

A very luxurious hotel with helpful personnel and based in the center of Fiscardo. It has many facilities, extremely high quality orthopedic beds with a selection of pillows. There is a Coffey maker and an ice maker in the room.

My poor husband booked this for us as a treat for my 60th birthday. We were going to Fishcardo restaurant. See the review I posted on that place. He had thought it would be nice to stay in town and not drive back to Argastoli where we had been staying on holiday. Well what fiasco!! The minute we got into the room I read the reviews. i think my husband wished he'd have done that before he made the booking. I am not sure what is considered luxury in Kefalonia but this in England might be described as maybe a boutique hotel. The rooms are such a mishmash !! Flashy automatic taps that come on every time you look at them. Over complicated showers that spurt out water from unexpected places. But weird cheap art on the walls and some very odd lighting, maybe tiny pink spot lights are considered luxury in Kefalonia its such a confused décor its just so odd. The fridge wasn't working, the air conditioning was hardly working also ( its was 37 degrees) There was NO WATER in the fridge either. No teaspoons in the room. There was old water in the coffee machine although god knows how to work it because NOTHING was explained to us. Apparently we could have paid to see a movie on the viewing box but again NOTHING was explained to us. Once we were showed to our hot, airless room, the staff disappeared completely. We tried to call them, email them...NOTHING. In the end my husband went outside and lent on the bell until the young girl who showed us to our room appeared looking bewildered. We tried to explain to her our issues, I don't think she spoke much English and looked blankly at us while we explained about the lack of …well everything actually. In the end my husband insisted that we change rooms. The next door room was empty, unsurprisingly and the air conditioning in that room worked ! Hooray !!! Utterly clueless staff, the rooms are definitely NOT luxury. Be warned, you will regret it if you stay here. We paid £185.

Poor management frightened my daughter with his aggressive behavior . Said they would refund as they couldn't supply the correct room and now cannot get hold of anyone . Their website is very deceiving , if you want a nice holiday in Kefalonia do not go here !!! Overpriced aggressive owners , very dishonest and not Honorable

Our suite was on the fist floor and was immaculate. The renovated old house is in the centre of the town, and therefore perfectly positioned. However, the proximity of restaurants and bars can make it noisy late at night unless all the shutters are closed tightly - we learned that by the second night! The owners were very helpful, and I would return there again.

(+) Die Lage war natürlich perfekt - direkt im Zentrum des kleinen Fischerortes. Der Ort an sich ist der schönste Ort der Insel, sodass man hier unbedingt vorbeischauen sollte, wenn man Kefalonia besucht. (-) Die Unterkunft wird als "Luxury Suite" mit 4 Sternen ausgewiesen, was schlicht und einfach die Übertreibung des Jahres ist. Wir sind wirklich kein verwöhntes Luxuspärchen, aber wir achten auf ein faires Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Da dieser kleine Fischerort generell keine große Auswahl an Unterkünften aufweist, hatten wir uns für die augenscheinlich beste Unterkunft entschieden. Die "Luxury Suite", die wir gebucht hatten, war für 4 Leute ausgelegt!!! Hier muss ich jeder Familie mit Kindern sagen: Tut das nicht! Es handelt sich um eine Maisonette-höhle, in der eine schmale Treppe in den oberen Raum führt. Dieser befindet sich unter dem Dach OHNE Klimaanlage. Wer also seine Kinder nicht bei 50 Grad grillen möchte, dem rate ich von einer Buchung ab. Es bestünde noch die Möglichkeit, die Klimaanlage unten (Ehebett) extrem kalt einzustellen, in der Hoffnung, dass etwas Kälte im Dachgeschoss ankommt. Bis es soweit ist, sind allerdings die Eltern unten erfroren... Der Safe fiel auseinander und piepte nervtötend, im Raum hingen Kabel vom Fernseher und von der Klimaanlage einfach herum und im Bad waren die Badmöbel teilweise abgesplittert. Der junge Mann am Empfang versicherte allerdings, dass es sich hierbei um eine frisch sanierte Unterkunft handeln würde... Der Höhepunkt war allerdings das Frühstück. Wir hatten inkl. Frühstück gebucht, da wir auf *********** sehr ansprechende Fotos von dem angebotenen Frühstück gesehen hatten. Nun waren wir im Sommer 2020 hier, weshalb es aufgrund von Corona verständlicherweise einige Bestimmungen einzuhalten gilt. Was hier vorgesetzt wurde, entbehrt allerdings jedweder Corona-Begründung. Selbst die Fertigpakete bei einer Billigairline sind ansprechender als dieses "Frühstück". Das Paket beinhaltete kalten, feuchten Toast, eine nicht definierte Wurstmasse und ein Paket Saft. Absolut inakzeptabel und hat auch nichts mit Corona Vorschriften zu tun.
