Where to begin ... My partner and I had our wedding day at Luttrellstown on December 27th and it was a dream come true. We stayed in the Gardener's cottage on the 26th and security looked after us really well from start to finish. We had everything we needed and they were always on call - They even brought us and our luggage from the carpark to the cottage via buggy which was a fun start to our stay. The cottage was immaculate and decked out with all the food and drink we could need. On the day of our wedding they pulled out all the stops. The venue was decorated immaculately from top to bottom, no detail left untouched. Our guests loved the venue and the super attentive staff. I wish we could go back and do it all again! If you are considering having your special day here then DO IT! You won't regret it. A special shout-out to Shannon in events who spent months with us planning the big day - It went off flawlessly, couldn't be happier. Our wedding at Luttrellstown far exceeded our expectations - it was magical from start to finish. Alex was incredible to deal with all year whilst planning our wedding - making it a dream even in the planning stages. The Christmas decorations, ceremony onsite, salon, food and the entire venue itself were all incredible. The staff were amazing to work with - they had everything organized on the day so none of us needed to even think of doing anything ourselves. I can’t put into words how amazing it was to have our wedding in Luttrellstown - a huge thank you to Alex for helping to bring our dream wedding come to life!!

We are just back from our magical wedding in Luttrellstown Castle and I cannot emphasise enough how if you are fortunate enough to be able to choose Luttrellstown as your venue, it will be the best choice you will make in all of your wedding experience. Luttrellstown truly holds a special place in my heart and I’m a little emotional writing this. Firstly, the resort is just out of this world and we feel so grateful to have been able to choose it and get a date we wanted. To the American clientele especially - it’s important to note that everything is available at this venue - food, drinks, service, accommodation, a ceremony hall and even a coordinator…an entire falconry display should you wish to include that. You do not have to organise everything separately. The venue works regularly with the best vendors in Ireland who know it well (and who all will tell you it’s their favourite venue in Ireland) and they have great relationships with them which I think is a green flag all around. Although it is of course a luxury venue, having looked at a few other places we felt it truly was the best VALUE for our wedding for all of the support and extra magic that came with it. We chose to have our wedding in autumn when the leaves were turning which made for a stunning setting with the Virginia creeper on the castle and photos capturing the essence of my favourite season in my home of Dublin. The food was absolutely magnificent and far above the quality of any wedding I have ever been to. We were treated to a beautiful intimate tasting back in February where the chef and staff insisted on giving us full portions of everything and really wanted our input on any changes we would like made to the dishes which I thought was a lovely personal touch, they were completely flexible. We had a true Irish welcome at Luttrellstown from the get go, the staff couldn’t do enough for us and really went out of their way to make us feel special. A lot of my wedding planning experience was in the US and so I’m used to being upsold and everything costing extra nonsense fees - the bridal tax over here is very real and sometimes it has made me feel more like a commodity than a person with feelings. Working with Luttrellstown was a breath of fresh air in that regard, they made us feel like they genuinely cared about our journey and wanted us to be happy, they did loads of little extra things like offer to print out menus and placenames and letting us choose our cheeses for a cheese platter, even when we asked if the chef could put some writing on our cake that was totally fine…they generally had an above and beyond approach and we got the feeling it was because they were genuinely invested in us having a wonderful day that was personal to us and reflected us as a couple. I am a person who puts a lot of pressure on myself and after the wedding planning experience, I realise I am also inherently a people pleaser - key ingredients in the recipe for a very stressed out bride! We had the most incredible day at Luttrellstown Castle where we came in from the US for our wedding. Shauna and the rest of the staff were incredible, accommodating every single request we had! The bartender even helped us create signature drinks in advance. All staff members of the castle were friendly and on top of everything, before we even had to worry or ask about anything at all. When it came to planning, Shauna was extremely responsive and her attention to detail was phenomenal, with no stone left unturned. If we were to go back, knowing what we know now, we wouldn't change a thing, as Luttrellstown was the perfect venue for our wedding. The castle is well maintained and the food and drinks were the best we have tasted. It truly was the wedding of our dreams.
