Primrose Valley Holiday Park - Haven

On arrival, first impressions were that it was very busy. Caravan easy to find on pine ridge no 17D. It did not smell as if it had been cleaned although the seel on the door said otherwise. The worktops and table were sticky, there was something pink and sticky on the wall which I assume probably from kids, the cooker hob looks grimy and my partner laid down on the sofa and said it smelt. I hate to complain and feel nit picky so I bought some Disinfectant, ect and scrubbed everything. After a night in the caravan we found faults such as the TV remote for the bedroom only had 1 battery in it so couldn't use it, the gas hob wouldn't ignite, the bed felt like a foam sponge that when you laid on it, you sank Into the middle of it, my partner lifted the mattress and found the metal support bar was bent in the middle, there was a bin lid in the cubourd but no actual bin so I used carrier bags. The playgrounds were always full and the queue in the shop was always big. We didn't cash our tickets in at the end of our stay for a prize due to the line being so big as we'd of been waiting at least half an hour. The swimming pools were nice and warm, the views lovely, the weather spoons food was really nice. The entertainment far too loud that we couldn't sit in it cause it was hurting my sons ears, you couldn't hear each other talk. Glad it was a short stay and I'm glad I got to see Filey but won't be back all in all

Anniversary break just me and hubby. Nice quiet location we stayed in 28 birch court. Silver caravan. Comfy bed memory foam mattress. Good shower pressure and temperature. Good positioned caravan for sun on varander. Basic kitchen but well equipped. Frying pan a bit scratched. Both TVs needed retuning as bad signal and seemed batteries may have been running low as difficult to turn off. We ordered food from cooks delivered to caravan. It was delivered on time for time slot selected but disappointed with size of fish, quite pricey. Also used slim chickens. Excellent chicken, delivery. Best chicken we've tasted. We ventured off park also for food in Hunmanby at The Pie Bald Inn. Pricey but huge portion of pie and if you don't finish you can box up the rest to take away.

the entertainment team are the best!! live laugh love amy. caitlin was a amazing singer to! (emmerson, phoebe and amelia were in the top 10 to) they all have so much energy and made the holiday 10x better and actually made it sad to leave. please stay until may and june so we can see you all again, ellen x (amy was a queen and had the best humour already miss her )

We have just returned from a 3 night Christmas break at Primrose valley. We were lucky enough to have been given an upgrade on caravan when we arrived we had originally booked a saver but was upgraded to Ash Grove no.6 which was a silver. Caravan was very clean on arrival, lovely to have a Christmas tree in the caravan all lit up when we walked in. We cannot fault anything with it. Entertainment was brilliant for the kids, the entertainment staff really did put on a great show every night. The Aladdin pantomime was amazing my 7 year old loved it. We went swimming for 2 days pool was clean even though it was busy it was too busy plenty of changing rooms, lockers needed 20p to lock them this is slightly different to the other sites we have been to which we £1 so we had to get some change from the life guard, other than that no issues. We paid to do the reindeer food making that was great for the kids also paid to see Santa, and wow the staff and Santa himself were brilliant, my 7 year old came out saying he was the real one!!! Amusements are good lots of variety. We would highly recommend a Christmas visit to Primrose valley ⭐️

I honestly thought we’d gone in the wrong caravan it was so lovely and modern for a bronze compared to what we’d had at other Haven sites. Caravan and site were lovely and clean. Swimming pool was fab and clean. All the staff we encountered were polite and helpful. So much to do on site and out and about the area. Service was very speedy in the pub and no complaints about the food from skinny chicken or the fish and chips that we tried on site for tea. Kids had a great time for half term we’ll definitely be back!

Stayed in a budget caravan for ten days. Wouldn’t recommend budget as we had a few problems. Broken window handle blood on duvet broken seating broken dustpan so we couldn’t clean up properly. Blocked shower. Park has a lot to offer but restaurant and shop are very expensive. Most of the shop staff were rude or miserable and made sarcastic comments when asked where something was or saying “you can pass me the basket you know” while an elderly lady was still at the till trying to put her card away. The activities we booked were mostly brilliant. Apart from the footgolf which cost £25 basically you get given footballs and can wander onto the “course” where half the flags aren’t numbered and people just go anywhere. Could do it yourself for free. Lakeside restaurants ridiculously expensive lasagne had no meat in just sauce and a lot of cheese. Half chicken wasn’t nice and almost £6 for kids ice cream cookies which were a tiny ball of ice cream between 2 fox’s type biscuits. We had reported the issues with the blocked shower and sofa maintenance came within an hour and sorted them but then obviously somehow forgot as the same man showed up 2 days before we were due to leave but as it happened we left the next day. The pantomime was amazing. The free daytime activities were great and i recommend them for younger kids. Also to add about the duvet we returned from swimming to find the bed made with a new duvet cover on over the same bloodstained duvet. Beautiful park loads to do but be careful with budget.
