Poggio al Sole

Beautiful green scenery in hills overlooking Florence down the valley. Amazingly, nightingales singing at night. Fine room. Lovely home made Italian breakfast. Welcoming and calm atmosphere. Pool only open on warm days. Easy to get into busy Florence by car, or car and then bus from nearby Fiesole.

Absolutely first rate. The attention to detail, the kindness of our hosts, the clean room and the peaceful surroundings - we could not have enjoyed it more. We stayed in a superior room, in the barn next to the farmhouse. The place is small enough not to feel like there are lots of guests - we had the little pool to ourselves for most of the day. There are plenty of places to sit and sunbath or lounge in the shade. It was recommended we hire a car but we just wanted complete peace and this is what we got. So many butterflies too. Our view out to the Tuscan hills, the very clean pool, the incredible kindness of Serena who, being in Florence when we were there, gave us a lift back (which saved us getting two buses). Her mother is just as lovely and prepared a great choice for breakfast. Such a peaceful stay. Highly recommended, we would come back again and again. They are also world champion olive oil produces and sell their own saffron. Leave room in your case to take some home.

Consigliatissimo. Io e mio marito abbiamo passato le prime due notti dopo le nozze in questo bellissimo agriturismo e abbiamo trovato un vero paradiso e il relax che cercavamo. Antonietta e la sua famiglia ci hanno coccolato con le loro prelibatezze. Francesca

Pessima esperienza le persone vengono in certi posti per trovare tranquillità ed accoglienza Questa struttura ha ancora molto da imparare ma purtroppo penso che non ci siano le condizioni perché questo un giorno accada .

Esperienza stupenda! Bellissimo panorama immerso nella natura sulle colline di Fiesole. Locali molto curati, le proprietarie di una disponibilità e gentilezza squisita. Colazione ottima e abbondante con prodotti chilometri zero! Ottimo l'olio!! (di loro produzione). Grazie di tutto torneremo sicuramente.

Location fantastica immersa nel verde delle colline e con vista mozzafiato su Firenze. Accoglienza e gentilezza fenomenale sia della proprietaria che dalla figlia, pronte ad ogni richiesta e consiglio.. a colazione non mancava nulla! Dolci fatti in casa e con il loro prodotti (olio e zafferano) . Noi abbiamo alloggiato nello splendido fienile, camera tipica, molto bella spaziosa e soprattutto pulita! Bellissima l’area relax esterna, peccato non averla sfruttata di più a causa del brutto tempo… ci ritorneremo di sicuro!
