Alimas Holiday Retreat solo a pronunciarlo ti da un senso di corretto,di bello,di perfetto.Siamo arrivati in questa splendida guest house il 22 febbraio …e dal quel giorno è cominciata la splendida avventura in Alimas.Appena arrivi nel porto della bellissima Felidhoo,Alimas e’ li che ti aspetta …ti da il benvenuto!Viene ad accoglierci il direttore della struttura…Rappe che per noi sarà Raph(😊).Lui è il perno di questa incantevole struttura,ben tenuta e super organizzata. Appena arrivati in struttura ci accolgono con un bel cocco da bere ,a dir poco squisito e perfetto per il momento .Dopo qualche minuto ci accompagnano in camera,una camera bellissima,molto ampia e super pulita.La camera è dotata di qualsiasi comfort,dalla cassaforte al mini bar,dal ferro da stiro con asse ,allo stendino esterno(che è sempre utile),è dotata di schermo tv piatto e qualsiasi altra comodità che necessita per una vacanza.La decorazione sul letto di benvenuto è stata molto gradita e la vista del balconcino sul porto la rende molto piacevole.Volevo rimarcare il dettaglio della pulizia,perché i ragazzi addetti alla sistemazione delle camere,hanno fatto un bellissimo lavoro,sono sempre attenti e non ti fanno mancare mai nulla,un piccolo ma grande dettaglio ,il letto viene sistemato due volte al giorno e la sera ,ogni qual volta rientravamo in camera ,trovavamo dei bellissimi fiori con i quali ci auguravano la buonanotte.La colazione ,il pranzo e la cena,sono ottime,sotto la supervisione dell’educatissimo è preparatissimo Fahar .Il servizio è perfetto.La cucina è aggiornata,di immagine e di alta qualità.Abbiamo amato questo modo di cucinare.CONGRATULAZIONI CHEF!!!! Alimas è una continua coccola. Ogni giorno nella hall è presente l’escursione giornaliera (sono tutte bellissime)noi le abbiamo fatte tutte.la spiaggia dista dalla struttura 3 minuti a piedi e bikini beach è attrezzata con lettini ed Alimas mette a disposizione per i suoi ospiti,maschere ,pinne ,sup e canoa(ottimo servizio).Vorrei dedicare due righe anche a Felidhoo,un isola molto bella,silenziosa e molto attrezzata,oltre il villaggio presente,c’è anche un ospedale,la banca e la stazione di polizia,nonché una buona quantità di negozietti per l’acquisto di souvenir e piccoli bazar.Le spiagge sono pulite e la barriera corallina è molto bella,miriade varietà di pesci e abbiamo avuto il piacere di incontrare una bellissima tartaruga marina 😍.GRAZIE ALIMAS HOLIDAY RETREAT,ti portiamo sempre con noi…perché hai reso una bella vacanza ,in una vacanza da favola. P.s. Nella settimana trascorsa,c’era il compleanno della mia dolce metà,loro a sorpresa hanno organizzato una cena in spiaggia indimenticabile ed io gliene sarò sempre grato per la magia che abbiamo vissuto quella sera. ALIMAS resterai per sempre nei nostri cuori. Ci rivedremo presto ❤️❤️❤️ Grazie per il lavoro stupendo che svolgete 🥰🇲🇻🥰🇲🇻 Spero che questa non sia una semplice recensione…ma una vera dichiarazione di amore nei confronti di questo bellissimo posto

OK and that’s it. If you need a place to sleep and have very basic meals and food, this is OK. Would not recommend if you are looking for a hotel and beach stay type of trip. But if you have other activities booked such as excursions, diving or similar it is ok as a base camp.

We have spent seven marvellous days with my wife in Alimas Retreat. All the staff were very nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and always tidy with a nice sea view Especially hotel manager Mr. Ibrahim and manager Mr. Fahhar were very friendly hosts. During 7 days we have had a chance to see 6 days sunny and 1 day cloudy. The beach around the Felidhoo was perfect. I had chance to see many sea creatures including colorful fish, sharks (not dangerous), sea turtle, Manda. The hotel provides daily excursions to full day picnic in a desert island, sand bank, wreck ship snorkling, night fishing...etc. And anytime you want they provide transfer and pick-up service to islands in the neighbourhood. We had chance to visit Thinadhoo island which had really nice beaches and coral reefs with tons of colourful fish species. Also another Resort Island velifushi was wonderful. The resort hotel Cinnamon Velifushi accepts daily visits for 55 USD including open buffet lunch.Therefore, we think ALİMAS Hotel is a nice spot for numerous activities and experiences.

We spent one week on the wonderful island of Felidhoo, and as experienced travelers we can confidently say that we managed to book the best stay in Felidhoo. We have received a very warm welcome. When we arrived to the island with the speedy boat, the manager of the hotel Rafeeu was right there waiting for us. At the hotel, we were greeted by the wonderful staff with wet face towels and mocktails, which was very nice after the 26-hour journey. Then we received all the important information about the hotel and the island also. The hotel is only few minutes walk from the bikini beach and is located directly at the pier. We had a very big room with 2 balconies with see views on the third Floor. The room has everything what you need for comfort (super comfy bed, bathrobes, slippers, toiletries,minibar, 2 liter of bottled water/day,tea,coffee and a big smart TV). The room was cleaned every day. The food is very tasty, and the service in Alimas is outstanding. The hotel itself organise various types of trip on a very good price. Felidhoo has everything what you need for a perfect relaxing holiday. The people on the island are very kind and friendly. Huge thank you for Rafeeu, Fahar, and the whole team to being so kind and helpful to make our first experience in the Maldives incredible. We recommend this place with all our heart.

Literally everything was perfect: 1. Amazing host, manager Rafeeu and his whole team. I was greeted with warm hospitality and exceptional customer service from the moment I arrived. Rafeeu and his smiling fantastic staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. 2. Exceptionally delicious food, cooked and nicely arranged on the plate by Dilantha, the accomplished Sri Lankan chef cook. The very tasty New Year Eve gala dinner was outstanding, worth of a 5* hotel. 3. Well organised transfers from airport to Felidhoo and back. 4. Very clean, well equipped, spacious rooms. 5. Large variety of excursions and activities at very decent price (swimming with nurse sharks, shipwreck snorkeling, two reef snorkeling, sunbathing on a sand bank, island hopping, picnic on a deserted island, among others) . 6. Beautiful, interesting island with friendly, lovely locals. 7. Nice Bikini beach and home reef for snorkeling. Special thanks to Rafeeu for a wonderful vacation, to Hassan for guiding us underwater and for his amazing underwater videos, to the boat captains and crew for sailing us safely to the snorkeling spots or islands, to chef cook, Dilantha, for feeding us so well, to Fahar and Pradeep (who took care of me at every meal, to the 2 young cleaning boys for carrying the luggage and taking care of the room. I will back again soon and definitely recommend Alimas.

Stayed 2 weeks in Alimas Holiday Retreat in Full Board. Very friendly hotel with the super helpfull manager Rafeu and his lovely staff (thanks to Fahar, Naem, Zoysa, Sanka, Kapila and Hasan!) . We had good contacts with Rafeu before our departure and he organised our transfers in speedboat from and to the airport. We had a big room with 2 balcony's and every comfort you need ( minibar, coffee, tea, milk, sugar, 2 lit. of bottled water a day, bathrobes, slippers, a lot of toilettries...) Room was very clean and towels are changed every day if you wish that. it is possible to eat outside at the terrace of the hotel. The food is very tasty and well presented. Because the hotel was calm when we arrived, the meals were served at the table. You have the choice between 3 mains (fish, meat, vegetarian) and 2 desserts (fruit salad or a sweet dessert) . There is soup or an appetizer too. Water and juice is included in the meals. For diner, the tables are beautifull decorated with flowers, candles and napkins folded to a heart, a butterfly or a rose... The last 2 evenings, when there were more guests in the hotel, there was a buffet. But we liked more the service at the table. For breakfast, you get a wooden plank with different sorts of breads, toast and sweets. Eggs prepared as you want with garnish. Plate with tropical fruit and juice. Coffee and tea as selfservice. Excursions are organised by Rafeu and are accompanied by the very friendly Hasan. Hotel is at a good location by the quay and the promenade and shark point. The island is very quiet and the people of the village very kindly. You have a really taste of life in the Maldives. There are free loungers at Bikini Beach, but they are used by all the hotels of the island. When you arrive late, the seats are all occupied . More loungers is a must. The island is working at its touristic expansion and so there are works going on, even in the environment of the hotel. I know, that is not the fault of the hotel, but I have to mention that.

We were greeted by staff of the hotel with welcome drinks. Our room was prepared so well with flowers on the bed. It was looking beautiful. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel, all of the staff were very welcoming and treated us as regular guests even though we are locals. We had so many good meals at the hotel. The chef even prepared some meals that we might prefer on request. The chef, waiting staff were so friendly with us. Always had our table prepared as how we wanted and gave us amazing service. We went on 2 excursions by the hotel, the snorkelling guide Hussain was amazing. Showed us the vaavu shipwreck, and also a turtle point. On the way back to island he even stopped by at one of the finolhu nearby and it was tremendous. Last but not least, hotel manager Rappe was so welcoming. We had lot of chance to interact with him and had good conversations. Alimas Holiday Retreat has the best food in the island, and we believe the best service. And overall our experience was excellent !! My husband I enjoyed every moment there. Highly recommend visiting this hotel. We would even love to go back and stay there as it felt like home away from home.

If you still searching for best local island hotel - just stop your search here. All services (no doubt) provided - are at best quality: House and rooms - clean, new, nicely decorated Food - amazing, with good choice and variety Transfer - fast and convenient Island - Vaavu capital, nice, clean, with good shops available Beach - typical Maldivian (bikini beach), not big, but there are plans to enlarge. Excursions (all) - fantastic and must go, especially for price offered But best and smth you’ll come back for - people. All the team and host - like a family trying to make your stay perfect. Thank you guys! Sure, we will come with our friends again to show them this home at Felidhoo!

We spent a few days at Alimas Holiday retreat. First of all, the service deserves attention, I have probably never met such polite and willing people in my life as a traveler. They are professionals. The hotel is clean, the rooms are cleaned every day. In addition, the hotel is new, freshly opened, so all the equipment is undamaged. The food in the hotel is very tasty, the portions are large. The hotel organizes various types of trips, it is an ideal form of spending time, in the hotel you feel really taken care of - I recommend taking advantage of their offer. Felidhoo has a beautiful bikini beach where the hotel has its own sun loungers, you can use them for free. The reef around the island is very diverse, you definitely won't get bored if you like snorkeling. Felidhoo is an amazing place, people are very nice and always smiling. In my opinion, Alimas Holiday Retreat is the best hotel on the island, with a beautiful view of the harbor, where you can admire the sunset every evening and professional service. I recommend this place with all my heart.
