Casa Apollo Guesthouse

A great place! This guesthouse is spotless, well located and very comfortable. I stayed in Feb so didn’t use the pool but the garden is a lovely spot. Breakfast is delicious and the hostess (who was covering for owner who was away) was friendly, professional and welcoming. Highly recommend.

A superb place to stay in Faro Our host/owner Jean-Paul has exquisite taste and has applied it to create a warm and stylish place to stay with great attention to detail. The rooms are each individually designed and achieve a calming environment to relax and recharge. The petit-dejeuner each morning is delightful.

After long and intense medical treatment i was looking for a Peaceful & Tranquil setting, the thought process was where could i stay and rest rather than a place i could step out from every day to tour. I reviewed both the location of this Hotel, 150mtr from the main streets of Faro together with a fantastic resting area within the curtilage of the Property, the owner prides himself on this fantastic sanctuary Garden with the swimming Pool to one side steadying at a comfortable 27deg. The perimeter walls filled with very distinctive Tropical Plants, some even imported from as far as French Guyana, amazing and calming to look at. Jean Paul & his Team could not be more accommodating, generally i never return to the same place twice as i feel there are plenty of undiscovered alternatives, but in this RARE case , this would be a no brainer and return i will. Bedroom 5/5 Bed 5/5 Breakfast 5/5 Host & Team 5/5 Comfort 5/5 PS i do not usually take time to write reviews however i think this was deserving for a small business that tries so hard to please.

I had the most wonderful stay! The room was perfect - big comfortable bed, tv, spotlessly clean and elegantly styled. You can tell that the owner took great care designing the property and in maintaining high standards. The pool and garden area was beautiful. The fruit trees were very cool! There was also a nice lounge area for guests. The owner kindly let me relax at the guesthouse until my evening flight after I had checked out. It feels like an oasis in the middle of the city - but only a 15 minute Uber to the airport which was very convenient. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. There were a variety of yoghurts, granolas, fruits, homemade french toast, meats, bread, cheese etc! I was also offered eggs. It was lovely to sit out on the patio for this. I will be recommending Casa Apollo to all friends and family who come to stay in Faro!

We had a wonderful stay at the Casa Apollo. The staff are so kind and attentive. Jean Paul the owner could not do enough for us. Our room was beautiful and the breakfasts were delicious. The garden is a delight as is the pool area. Highly recommended.

The owner was a french man who was so kind. He made the best breakfast I had in Portugal, even better than what was provided in expensive hotels. The room was clean and the house looked tidy and pleasant. Sadly the garden area was under renovation so it looked a little messy outside but that didnt affect my stay. Also, when I first arrived and parked outside, I got so scared because the street looked sketchy at night but gladly nothing happened and the inside was good.
