This is a Dry Cabin with NO RUNNING WATER, NO SHOWER. There is an outside, partially exposed pit toilet giving you a true Alaskan experience. Inside, there's a sink with a faucet connected to a 5-gallon water container. This setup mirrors the reality for many in Alaska, where permafrost prevents well installation. Water must be manually hauled to the cabin, with a jug stored under the sink and a pump for dispensing. Guest access The cabin is situated on 2 acres of huge old spruce trees, with Goldstream Creek encompassing the property line, along with your very own little pond where migratory birds love to come and go. Other things to note Getting around You will need a car (or hire taxis and Lyfts) to fully enjoy the area. There is ample parking, so multiple cars are no problem. Fred Meyer (groceries, all shopping) and gas stations are only 10 minutes from the cabin, the downtown is 15 minutes away, and you are so close to ski trails and hiking Murphy and Ester Domes (right in the middle of both!).
