Stayed here on several occasions and never been disappointed, location is perfect, car park at the rear- charged but not a problem. This time however I can’t give it 5 stars purely because the service was not at the usual standard I’ve previously experienced. The receptionist when we checked in was clearly fed up, not particularly friendly in fact almost sarcastic at times. Breakfast the next morning was a shambles 2 staff running round doing everything from manning reception, booking people in for meals and running the dining room. As a result tables were left uncleared and messy, the buffet not replenished, having to hunt for cutlery and side plates, no coffee as both machines empty needed refilling ,it’s not the staffs fault, there’s clearly not enough of them so they’re just fed up, as a result we didn’t book breakfast for the following morning and went elsewhere. Come on premier inn, sort this out and employ more staff especially during school holidays. We will still return as we love the location but wouldn’t bother with breakfast
