Melbury Rooms & Studios

Fantastic location, lovely room, comfortable bed and brilliant shower. The resident’s kitchen was handy and stocked with tea, coffee, and plenty of crockery/pans etc. Living room area was nice, and had a small library of games available. Overall had a very charming feel to the place.

We had a lovely stay at Melbury, the whole building was so clean and well presented with Studio 7 being exactly as described. Located within walking distance to Exeter City centre and all Exeter has to offer, it was the perfect place to stay and we felt right at home. All instructions on how to check in etc were easy to follow and Elliot is very friendly proactive manager. We will be returning.

I stayed a few days a week for 5 weeks and I really liked this place. It's clean, well equipped, conveniently located, and well run. Communications are great and they are always ready to sort any issue you may face. I have no doubt I would return.

I appreciated the courtesy phone call I received from Melbury Rooms & Studios on our day of arrival to check that we had received the check-in details they had emailed to us the previous day listing our room number and access code. When we arrived, the staff were very welcoming. Our studio was ideally located, just a short a short walk from the centre of Exeter. The studio was spotlessly clean and had a large kitchen area with an induction hob, microwave and fridge freezer. Crockery and cutlery were provided. The room had a dining table and comfortable sofa. This area joined on to a separate bedroom which had a very comfortable double bed. There were plenty of hangers and drawers for our clothes. The bathroom had an excellent shower. Although it wasn't a problem, I would have liked to have been informed in advance that complimentary tea and coffee weren't provided with the kettle in the room.

The location is perfect: near the centre but in a relatively quiet street. The building is quaint inside and outside. The communal kitchen and lounging areas are a welcome bonus. The studio we stayed in was super clean and cozy incorporating a tiny but properly equipped kitchenette. The staff was helpful and swift to respond to any requests. Plus, the price was reasonable. Overall, I can warmly recommend this place.

Very clean & tidy rooms with everything your require for a few days, self-catering Staff were also very helpful. I stayed with a friend for 5 nights One nights sleep was disturbed by very creaky floorboards being walked on in the room above us. We was able to move to another room the following day, no problem I would highly recommend staying there, & if I want to visit Exeter again, under similar circumstances, I would definitely book again.
