So much more than expected! Comfortable beds, great location, nicely outfitted kitchen, wonderful views, clean, and roomy. Bikes, canoes, outdoor swimming pool and within walking distance of so much! The staff is helpful and knowledgeable, you will want to keep coming back year after year.

Very nice stilt cabin on the water. Plenty of room including kitchenette & screened porch walkable to most of town. Park right under cabin, bikes and canoes available. Great place to stay for Everglades city and surrounding area. Would stay here again and can see why so many people come here often.

Wow, what a location, right on the Everglades water with gators casually swimming by! River Wilderness is a small group of wooden units which have been really nicely fitted inside and were well cleaned. We only had a one night stay so were happy getting a pizza from the store down the road and just sitting on the enclosed porch watching the wildlife. A really tranquil and comfortable stay, worth catching the sunrise from the porch!

This cabin surpassed my expectations given its location. The cabin was well-appointed and clean. Each cabin has a clear view of the water - we saw an alligator, shark and numerous birds and insects. The bedding was functional - quite a thin bottom sheet but it was clean. Within a short walk is a small local store and a pizzeria from which we had the best pizza of our holiday. The most enjoyable part of our stay was simply to sit and watch the changing scene before us as the hours ticked by.

I concur with previous reviews. The cabin was spacious, clean an comfortable with everything you could need. Yes some of the kitchen equipment has seen better days but that in no way detracted from ours stay. The mosquito net surrounding the balcony was a bonus and allowed to tit out on an evening watching the water. Our visit was a bit out of season so nothing much to do and some eating places were closed, but we coped. Facility was very quiet with few other guests. Took the National Park 10000 island cruise which was gentle and we were escorted by dolphins for quite a way. Everglades City is a bit off the beaten track but if we were ever to return I would have no hesitation in using RWWC again.

Cute time share cabin with a great view. Some of the kitchen appliances were a little rusty but not too big of a deal as we were only there one night (it wasn't cheap so the rusty appliances was a bit of a surprise). They let you use their canoes for free which we did and that was super-fun. Everything else was great including the staff.

Enjoy the screened deck right off your dining area or the boat dock down a set of steps to relax and see wildlife. Convenient location with Island Cafe right across the street for breakfast. Accommodations aren't modern but there is a living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and screened deck. The manager is friendly and even left me a birthday card!

Situated at a nice location right on the river and a large open waterway, this is a wonderfully rustic place to stay in Everglades City. There was plenty of room in the cabin, it was well appointed with everything (and more) that we would need, and clean. The large screened back deck provided a scenic view over the water and the Everglades from where we saw dolphins, many pelicans, osprey, lots of fish jumping, and plenty of undetermined critters - all in wonderful and serene silence. Thank you for giving us New England'ers a good helping of true Southern hospitality!

It was our first trip to Everglades City and to this accommodation. The apartment had a great location by the water and the screened in porch was definitely the highlight of the stay, as we had hoped. The furnishings and rooms have seen a few years, so there were a few marks and scuffs, but the place was very clean, and the kitchen had a reasonable amount of equipment. The bed was comfy and the associated swimming pool just down the road was lovely, again right by the water. Check in and check out was friendly, quick and efficient. We really enjoyed being able to use the canoes they provide here. We'd certainly stay here again.
