We spent a night here and our experience was amazing. The location is perfect. We had the room with a view of beach and the cliffs of Etretat and it was stunning. The staff is amazingly nice and friendly. We came to Etretat by bus around 11:30am and we were worried where to keep our luggage until the checkin at 16h. But the kind receptionist told us they can keep our luggage safely until we checkin and also we could checkin at 15h it was really amazing. And also when we leave next day another receptionist insisted on keeping our luggage even after we checkout and until our bus arrives in the evening. So it was incredibly helpfull for us to go visit all the stunning places in Etretat without being worried about carrying our luggages. We had a really nice stay in this hotel with an amazing view and nicest hotel staff we have ever met. I would deffinitely reccomend to stay here for anyone planning for a trip to Etretat. And also we hope to come visit very soon again and surely this hotel is our only choice of stay. Thank you very much for your kind and amazing hospitality Hotel le Rayon vert!!

Great location, room decent size and well laid out. Staff friendly. Did not try breakfast but the restaurant with great view had a good menu and produced well cooked and decent value food. Like many older hotels in France there was no lift so be prepared to haul your luggage up some stairs.

Stayed for one night. Good location, pleasant welcome. Hotel not busy but wouldn't allow us to access room until 4pm (we arrived at 2pm) which seemed a little petty. Room ok but decor tired. Just small annoyances, no milk for morning tea, not enough hot water to fill bath (bathed in 3 inches!). Room not very cosy but nice view of sea. No parking for hotel so need to use public car park down the road, not a major issue but can only pay for 5 hrs max ((free overnight til 9) so have to return to feed meter. Hotel restaurant food was lovely.

Nice little and simple hotel, located directly at the sea, with small but clean and functional rooms. Ideally you book a room on the third floor with a view to the sea. Its an old house with narrow, steep stairs, you have to be a bit athletic. The house has a great atmosphere, but is not a hotel with 24-hour reception or room service, more like a bed & breakfast. The owners only speak French, but they are very friendly and you can make yourself understood. Check in is unfortunately only possible from 4pm and there is no parking at the hotel. You stay here for the fantastic location and atmosphere. The view from the hotel is breathtaking. The hotel also has a small guest appearance in the Netflix series Lupin.

I had the pleasure of visiting this hotel last week for a one night stay. The location is perfect, just on the beach and was very easy to find. The building is old and has a lot of charm while still ensuring rooms are up to standard. The staff are very nice and knowledgeable of the region and can give lots of tips on where to go in this fantastic region. In the hotel is also a restaurant that service very nice food to reasonable price. The service was very good and the staff really tried to make the stay a pleasurable and memorable one. I needed to be up relatively early and the staff did their utmost to ensure I got a proper breakfast even if it was earlier than normal breakfast time. I highly appreciated that. Next time I'll visit Etretat, I'll definitely come back to this hotel

Belle vue, chambre propre mais d'un standard de qualité d'une autre époque nombreuses traces d'humidité, de délabrement notamment alentours des châssis et dans la salle de bain. 440 € pour 2 nuitées avec petit déjeuner normalement buffet à volonté ce qui n'est pas le cas viennoiserie et baguette mise sur chaque table je précise un pain au chocolat et un croissant pour deux sans possibilité de se resservir. Nous avons tenté de faire part de nos griefs à la réceptionniste mais du coup changement d'ambiance avec une belle histoire de travaux à réaliser pendant l'hiver

Vue extra ordinaire sur les arches d‘Etretat; il faut absolument prendre une chambre vue mer; les lits ont un bon sommier et la réception est très serviable et arrangeante. Demander pour le parking avant d‘arriver, pour vous organiser. Une adresse à conserver précieusement.

Venons de séjourner 15 jours.Nous recommandons cet Hôtel pour l’emplacement très proche de jolies plages puis du centre ville de Deshaies. La piscine a débordement offre une vue imprenable sur la mer ! Chambre spacieuse, literie impeccable, douche italienne avec eau chaude permanente et terrasse individuelle … Coté restauration, nous avons apprécié manger local, que ce soit les poissons ou viandes, les belles assiettes attisent les papilles et nous nous sommes régalés lors des dîners ! Le bar propose des cocktails incroyables 😃 Bonne humeur assurée par les gérants et le personnel qui sont au petit soin avec les clients , nous nous sommes tout de suite sentis chez nous, Merci ! Au plaisir de re séjourner prochainement au Rayon vert ! Laurent et Emmanuelle

Le séjour commence mal, nous prenons procession de la chambre et partons nous promener. De retour dans le chambre, des coulées d’eau sur les murs et une forte humidité. Nous avons contacté la réception et le veilleur de nuit est venu nous aider à éponger le mur pour passer une nuit « correcte » car l’hôtel étant complet, il n’ avait aucune possibilité de nous relogé et aucune autre solution. Au matin la réceptionniste nous a trouvé une solution et nous a déplacé dans le gîte à côté de l’hôtel. Nous avons donc passé une très bonne nuit dans le gîte et nous recommandons car même avec la première nuit compliquée, dès le lendemain matin on nous a trouvé des solutions pour continuer confortablement notre séjour avec un « surclassement » et un petit déjeuner offert.
