My family and I initially intended to visit Nice/Cannes for a 3 day trip. However our plans were disrupted by industrial strikes in France and our flight got cancelled. So our airline was able to rebook us on a flight to Lisbon instead, meaning we had to frantically search for accommodation very last minute. Thankfully, we were able to book a room in Casa Londres for 3 nights. We arrived late (an Uber from the airport to Casa Londres cost €24 at 10pm) but the staff could not have been more helpful. They were so nice and quickly helped us get settled in. It was a bit of a squeeze in our room (wife and two small children) but as it was last minute we didn't mind. It was clean and had enough room for our case and other belongings. The location is superb. A short walk downhill and under the train track to the fabulous promenade and beach of Estoril. It takes about 20 minutes or so to walk into Cascais. Our room was cleaned daily and the staff were always very pleasant, making a fuss over our little children. They even allowed us a late checkout on our last day as our flight home was at 9pm. This hotel is basic and inexpensive, but perfect for a short break if you want to use it as a base for exploring Estoril/Cascais. Thank you so much to the staff for a great time! :)
