The Grove Motel

Absolutely loved this place. We had the Circus Room. All rooms are themed and have very comfortable beds. Only a couple minutes to walk to the beach area where there is a pier with benches that is great for the spectacular sunsets. Close to many great restaurants. The fire pits out front were an added bonus. We sat out and met a few of the other guests. I would highly recommend this place to anyone

Our motel room was bright, clean and contemporary. We stayed in the beach themed room. It was exactly what was expected based on the photos on the website. The bed was very comfortable. The room was quiet and there were blackout shades. All made for a great night’s sleep. In the morning, Joe’s was onsite for a great latte and light breakfast before heading out for wining tasting. Highly recommend staying here.

Possibly the nicest hotel I’ve ever frequented! The rooms are unique and immaculate and at a reasonable price. Big tv with streaming capabilities. The staff is very personable and friendly. A pleasure to stay with you and will be back every time I’m close!

We stayed at this wonderful little gem over the weekend. The staff are friendly, the check in was easy & the rooms are amazing. We stayed in the 'Welcome to the Circus' room. The retro decor was so cool. The beds, bedding & pillows are 5 star! The entire establishment was spotless. They provide wine glasses, a cork screw, a full water carafe & house coats. Bathrooms are prestine. Theres one complimentary coffee served in the coffee shop per guest. Thank you for a great stay. We had a day pass at the Lungovita beach retreat which was only 2km away & so many wineries, it was perfect.

My wife and I stayed at the Grove Motel this past weekend. It was a great experience! The staff was pleasant and welcoming. It was the cleanest room we've ever stayed in. Great coffee shop located on-site. Nearby to wineries, the beach, and more. Fun, energetic, hip...it was awesome. We're looking forward to returning.

This retro motel was a lot cooler than the pictures and you need to experience it for yourself. This recently built motel has the look and feel of a 60’s road trip. Located in a quiet town of Colchester. The rooms are clean, modern and very comfortable. A short walk to the beach and on site coffee shop makes for great start to the day. Tip. If you are a foodie, have an early dinner at one of the local wineries as they close early (at least on Sundays) if you want a nice meal.
