I am deeply disappointed and outraged by the service I've received from Atlantic Congress Hotel. In an era where flexibility and customer satisfaction should be paramount, the hotel's rigid policies and lack of accommodation have caused nothing but frustration and concern. I had booked a stay at the hotel but due to unforeseen circumstances, I was unable to travel. It should have been a simple process to transfer my reservation to my friend, whom I was supposed to travel with, but the hotel refused to change the name on the reservation without first receiving full payment from my friend. This is simply unacceptable and incomprehensible that a hotel in 2024 operates with such archaic and inflexible methods. Having to pay twice for the same reservation is not only unreasonable, it's also a gross example of poor customer service. It seriously concerns me whether I will ever see my money again, now that it is already caught in the hotel's bureaucratic snare. I expected much more from an established hotel, especially in a time when technology and customer service should make such changes effortless. This has been an eye-opener for me, and I will think twice before ever considering booking with Atlantic Hotel again. I will also make sure to inform my acquaintances of this experience so they can avoid falling into the same trap.
