Hoteles en Provincia de Esauira con Spa

After reading some of the reviews before staying at this hotel I have to say I'm not surprised. I totally agree with the comments that this is not a true 5 star hotel at all. The positives are the location, the pool area and the rooms (to an extent). From one way its only a short walk to the medina and from the other it's a short walk to the beach bars. The pool area is well maintained and very attracting. The rooms are a good size with comfy bed and powerful shower and they are very clean. However, we started off by having to change rooms as the room we were first given had a chipped bath - all the paint had come up off the bottom of the bath so it was unusable, the staff solved this pretty quickly by offering us a room of the same standard one floor above. Nevertheless, I find it shocking that a 5 star hotel would not maintain their rooms in the first place. We found the cleaning staff and concierges very friendly. Some of the breakfast staff and beach staff, less so. One day we sat on the beach beds and felt looked down on and were not treated as well as some of the other guests. This really put us off and prevented us using this area again. Not sure if this is because we are a younger/mixed couple? Overall, the hotel is lacking in a lot of areas and the Accor group need to look into this. I would definitely visit Essaouira again but would probably rent an apartment since the beach and medina have so many options anyway!

Pronto estará bien, el hotel en Marruecos es básicamente el mismo y hay un pequeño episodio en el medio. Esperamos a que el camarero de kung fu en la planta baja pensara que nos marchamos y dejamos las cosas en la habitación, pero todo está bien. Mirando hacia atrás, todo lo demás está bien

Unglaublich schöner Innenhof mit Blick in den blauen Himmel mit 3 Galerien. Hier gibt’s einfaches Frühstück. Kaffee mit Heißer Milch und 2 typische marrokanische “Pfannkuchen” oder so etwas ähnliches und frisch gepressten Orangensaft. Honig, Marmeladen und Butter darf man sich selbst nehmen. Es gibt noch grüne Oliven, Tomaten u Gurken u gekochte Eier. Es gibt in einem 2ten Innenhof ein Restaurant mit offenem Kamin. Abends Ende März ist es trotzdem irgendwie schön am Feuer zu sitzen. Essen ist gut, auch der marrokanische Wein ist zu empfehlen. Auf dem Dach des Hotels kann man sich auf einfachen Loungesessel im Schatten entspannen oder auf Liegen Sonnenbaden. Die Lage ist unweit vom Südlichen Tor und perfekt gelegen. Der Charme des Hotels ist sein altes Gebäude. Dementsprechend sind aber auch, die in Neubauten standardmäßig angebotenen Ausstattungen wie Fernseher oder Klima, oft nicht mit dabei. Einfache Zimmer mit Kleinem Schrank, Tisch und Couch, Ablage und eine große Matratze. Einige Zimmer liegen nicht zur Gasse, sondern zum den Innenhöfen. Trotz hölzernen Flügelfenster und Tür teilweise nicht so hell. Das Bad spartanisch mit Toilette und Waschbecken + Dusche; jedoch bei mir ohne Duschvorhang. Durch einige Tagesausflügler aus Marrakesch teilweise auch nachts und sehr früh nicht zu überhörende Abreisende. Mir war der Flair wichtiger, als der für mich normalerweise gewohnte Luxus, den ich sonst auf Geschäftsreisen einfordere. Als Bayer kenne ich das Glockenläuten der Kirchturmuhr; hier ruft der Muezzin bei Sonnenaufgang zum 1.mal relativ leise und dann noch 4 x bis Sonnenuntergang.

VILLA MAROC - ESSOURIA. AN ABSOLUTE MUST STAY IN ESSOURIA! We arrived here and were very pleased by our greetings, the excellent location and the grandeur of the place. In all our travels this is near the top of our favorite places for the decorations and the stateliness of the place. The have a bar open from 3pm if you wish, a chess room (!), a fireplace room, multiple sitting rooms and reading room with selections of books as well as a huge roof top terrace with a great view of the fort and harbour and beach where breakfast is served. GOOD WIFI! Bed and bedding was great, towels were soft, supplied shampoo, body wash hair dryer and good shower! Get a covered place to sit so seagulls don't get you. Breakfast was very good with fresh fruit juice, coffee, omelette or eggs to order, bread with butter, jams & marmalade, traditional crepes...all served by nice staff. We had to leave early to catch a plane and we told them and they got their staff to give us the same breakfast 45 minutes earlier. Very kind. Breakfast starts normally at 8:15. Check in was easy and they had an attendant bring our bags to the room. We tipped him. Villa Maroc location and roof deck is the best part of staying here. Easy parking nearby as there are large lots run by guys who charge you by night. Our vehicle was fine and it was parked overnight for two nights and days. It was a 200 metres walk to the front door of hotel from where we were parked - very easy. Simply walk through the front main gate arch and walk 50 metres and take a very immediate left after the wall. It is 20 metres down to the right and CLEARLY MARKED. Check out was easy. Again bags were brought to front desk by attendant. What was also very nice was the owner took the time to walk to each table at breakfast and chat with everyone…a great reflection for the overcall care she and all her staff had for guests.

El hotel está situado a 5 minutos a pie de la estación de autobuses que se conecta a Marrakech, en una de las calles principales de la ciudad, con un personal muy agradable, un desayuno muy agradable y una agradable habitación. Muy feliz con nuestra elección.

La ubicación es fácil de encontrar, aparcamiento gratuito, justo enfrente de la playa de Essaouira. Originalmente, el tipo de habitación era una habitación doble, pero terminamos con una cama doble y una cama individual (tres adultos). La habitación estaba limpia y era cómoda. El desayuno es muy rico y la cena es de tres platos, rentable.

It would take so little to make this place a gem! We spent 2 nights here. The common rooms are beautiful and charming and this is a very historic riad. Unfortunately, the pictures of the rooms online are not at all what you get. They are dirty (there were foot imprints on a half-wall in our room) and smell moldy. The curtains are falling apart and shouldn’t be moved or else they will fall off. While I know the hotel will likely respond to this post that they appreciate my review and are sorry about the experience of the rooms, I wish instead they would increase their prices just slightly and give the rooms new paint, curtains and furniture - it would go such a long way and turn around all of these bad reviews they are getting!
