Kasbah Hotel Chergui

Stayed as part of a group tour. Off to a bad start when the aircon wasn’t working. Seems it was turned off at the switch board, probably because the remote wasn’t working. Buffet dinner with great selection last night. Service quite good, but the person who seemed to be in charge was loud and unwelcoming. Breakfast different story though. No hot food available. There were boiled eggs (not sure whether hot or cold). LOTS of pastries which were cold and, in my opinion, tasteless bordering on stale. Bed and only 1 (small) pillow hard as rocks. Shower warm at best and the water only ran from approximately a third of the holes in the hand held nozzle. Beautiful pool and lots of staff this morning sweeping, etc.

We enjoyed our stay at this clean, Moroccan-style hotel. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The air-conditioning worked flawlessly. Breakfast and dessert are buffet-style. Breakfast consisted of fruits, pastries, bread and hard-boiled eggs. I asked for sunny-side up and they gladly accommodated me. As a previous poster commented, our group of twelve felt as if we had this large resort to ourselves. It may just have been occupancy was low at the time of our visit. Service was prompt and helpful. An enjoyable stay!

This hotel is quite traditional. It’s been a long time since I’ve slept with a sheet , blanket and bedspread. As a couple we were given two small double beds. The room was very dark but quiet and the air con worked well. The bathroom was separated into three areas which was quite good. I’ve just found every shower I’ve come across in Morocco to be installed way too high and not adjustable. The food in the restaurant was average both at dinner and breakfast and the girl that served us very rude. There was no hot food at breakfast apart from scrambled eggs. The outdoor pool area is very nice.

Beautiful grounds and a nice pool. We stayed one night on our way to the Sahara. The beds were comfortable and spacious and the air conditioner worked well. Meals were buffet and plentiful. Desserts were few. The dinner buffet was very good but just the opposite for breakfast. The bread was stale and some was like leather.

Excellent place to stay. Long bus ride to get here but we were comfortable in our room. Comfortable bed. nice bath with decent towels. Breakfast was pleasant -- a little too much bread, but ....... Pool, nice gift shop, very pleasant. Highly recommend.
