Whether you choose to relax on the lanai, poolside or in a beach chair, you’ll have it all. If you enjoy playing bocce, tennis, shuffleboard or ping pong, it’s available. Golfing at many local courses in the area. There are numerous public marinas and boat ramps for all your water activities -- fishing, jet skiing or wave running, paddle boarding or kayaking on Lemon Bay, exploring nature’s wonders at Stump Pass on the south end of Manasota Key, spotting eagles and ospreys at Cedar Point Environmental Park. Most of these pastimes are a walk or short drive away. Shopping is directly across the road at Merchant’s Crossing Center and the Farmer’s Market every Thursday on Dearborn Street is always popular. On the boat ride, you may see eagles, osprey, or manatees. The restaurant also has a souvenir shop for gift-buying (retail therapy). The region hosts many festivals from monthly "Cruising' on Dearborn," which is a rolling car show to both the Englewood Fine Arts Festival and the Venice Fine Arts Festival.
