Located at Trübsee lake in the heart of the Swiss Alps, Iglu-Dorf Engelberg offers unheated igloos with thermo mats and expedition sleeping bags.
The igloos have been decorated by international artists and are connected via a tunnel system. Guests have access to a heated public toilet in the centre of the village.
A welcome drink, a Fondue dinner, tea throughout the evening and the use of a shared hot tub with mountain views are included in the rates. Breakfast is served at the nearby mountain restaurant.
Guests are offered a guided tour through the igloo village with instructions from professional guides, as well as a snow-shoe or night time walk if the weather permits.
The region invites visitors to hike around the Trübsee lake or to ski down the slopes of Mount Titlis.
