Hotel Dirsch Wellness & Spa Resort

I recently had a stay at the Hotel Dirsch, and while there were some positives, there were also some things that left me feeling disappointed. Overall, I am not sure why this hotel has a four-star rating. In this review, I will share my experiences with you, starting with the neutral aspects. Neutral: Let's start with the swimming pool. I found it to be quite tiny for a hotel that bills itself as a wellness hotel. While it was clean and well-maintained, I would have appreciated a larger pool area to unwind in. The sauna area was adequate, but the fact that it was only open from 12-9 pm left me feeling a bit short-changed. If you're looking for a relaxing sauna session before bed, you won't be able to do so here. The room itself was okay, but it was also very small. If you're expecting a spacious and luxurious room, this is not the place for you. However, it was clean and had everything that I needed for my stay. Negative: Now let's move on to the negatives. First of all, in my room, there were no slippers or bathrobe, which I found strange for a wellness hotel. These are basic amenities that should be provided to guests, especially if you're paying a premium price for your stay. Similarly, I was surprised to find that there were no water bottles in the room. This is a standard item that is provided in every hotel, whether you're paying for the water or not. Instead, you have to go to a vending machine, which feels outdated and inconvenient. The bed and mattress were also a letdown. The mattress was incredibly hard, which made for an uncomfortable sleep. If you're someone who values a comfortable bed, you may want to look elsewhere. In the evening, there was only one person working at the bar, which meant that there were long waits for drinks. This was frustrating, especially after a long day of travel. As I mentioned earlier, the swimming pool was quite small, and I found the prices for the hotel rooms to be quite high, especially given the overall lack of amenities. Finally, the gym was outdated, and two of the treadmills were out of order in the evening. While there were other machines available, it was disappointing not to have access to all of the equipment. Positive: Now, let's move on to the positives. One thing that stood out to me was the quality of the food in the restaurant. The meals were delicious, and the buffet was also quite good. If you're a foodie, you'll appreciate the effort that the hotel puts into its culinary offerings. I also found the staff to be friendly and helpful. They were always willing to answer my questions and went out of their way to make my stay more enjoyable. Overall, my stay at the Hotel Dirsch was a mixed bag. While there were some positives, there were also several areas where the hotel fell short. If you're looking for a luxurious wellness hotel experience, this may not be the place for you. Wir waren wirklich positiv überrascht. Sehr schönes Hotel, sehr schöner Wellness Bereich. Aussergewöhnlich freundliches Personal, sowohl am Empfang wie im Restaurant.Kleine Minuspunkte bei der Buchung von Anwendungen, hier bestand anscheinend wenig Interesse eine Anwendung zu buchen, musste mehrmals einen Termin nachfragen und wurde immer vertröstet. Zweiter kleiner Minuspunkt das Büfett am Abend, man muss schon sehr früh essen um noch alles zu bekommen und jeden Tag die gleichen Vorspeisen und das gleiche Gemüse. Hier ist mehr Kreativität gefragt. Nichts desto trotz wir werden wieder kommen.

Wir hatten 5 erholsame und genussreiche Tage. Freundlicher, informativer Empfang - gutes Frühstücksbüfett - leckere Kuchen/Torten am Nachmittag und abwechslungsreiches Abend-Büffet. Unsere Juniorsuite im Gästehaus war zur Rückseite und damit ganz besonders ruhig gelegen - wir konnten die ganze Nacht bei geöffnetem Fenster schlagen. Ganz besonders angenehm empfanden wir: - den großzügigen Saunabereich mit sehr angenehmen Ruheräumen (da wir innerhalb der Woche im Hotel waren und viele der Gäste Tagungsteilnehmer waren, war es nachmittags im Wellnessbereich sehr angenehm ruhig) und Getränkespender - dass wir für den gesamten Aufenthalt einen fest reservierten Tisch hatten - sehr aufmerksamer, freundlicher und gastorientierter Service Bezüglich der Lage des Hotels: aus der einerseits sehr angenehmen, ruhigen Lage in einem wirklich kleinen Dorf, in dem es ausser dem Hotel und einer Gaststätte wirklich nichts gibt, resultiert leider andererseits, dass man für alle Unternehmungen außer wandern auf das Auto zurückgreifen muss.

Aufgrund des Internet Auftrittes war ich sehr skeptisch, was das Hotel betrifft. Allerdings wurden meine Erwartungen mehr als übertroffen. Sehr schöne, moderne und ganz neue Zimmer. Auch das Abendessen vom Buffet war qualitativ top und sehr lecker. Man hat mehrere Hauptgerichte zur Auswahl und es gab auch immer ein Fisch- und ein vegetarisches Gericht. Was allerdings schade war, dass das Abendessen nur bis 20:30 geht. Wir wären gerne später essen gegangen und hätten uns an einem Abend gerne noch einen Nachschlag vom Hauptgericht geholt, aber es war dann schon abgebaut. Obwohl es ein sehr großes Restaurant ist, war der Service top und sehr zuvorkommend. Die Bar ist auch sehr schön und gemütlich. Unser Highlight war jedoch der Wellnessbereich. Überall gibt es verschiedene Ruheräume zum Entspannen, man hat eine große Auswahl an Saunen, trotz Feiertag war es nie überfüllt und die Sauberkeit war absolut top! Für ein Wellness-Wochenende mit Freundinnen war es die richtige Wahl und wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Ich bin mit meiner Frau hier. Wir sind total begeistert. Angefangen vom Zimmer, wir haben die Junior Deluxe Suite Perfekt. Auch das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch die Frühstück und Abendbuffet top. Der Spa Bereich ist für ein Hotel auch schön und ausreichend groß. Ich hatte heute eine Pediküre, seitdem gehe ich wie auf Wolken. Sehr zu empfehlen. Sehr schönes Hotel in dem keine Wünsche offen bleiben. Alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommen. Preis Leistung stimmt. Wellnessbereich größer als erwartet. Sehr viele Ruheräume und eine große Auswahl an Saunen. Essen gab es Buffet was sehr lecker war.
