Emeishan Sanhejia Hotel

Small rest house with a restaurant at ground level (refer to attached photo). Next to the mid hill shuttle bus terminal linking to cable car station. Small bathroom with hot shower. Need to be careful to prevent excessive water flowing out of the door into the room floor. Suggest to install a low barrier at the front bottom door way to prevent water flowing out and damaging the wooden floor in the room. Nice gesture to wake visitor for sunrise and offer free use of hiking rod. A must have for 20-30 mins up slope walk to the cable car station. Next door is undergoing renovation work from 8am to 5pm currently. Not a problem as you will go up to the mountain during that time slot.

The Gem in Emeishan. Food is great!! My best food in my 2 weeks trip in Sichuan. Must try!

This hotel is located in Leidongping, a small village close to the summit of mount emei. Like many other hotels in the area, the lobby consists of a restaurant and of a small shops. The rooms are accessible through a narrow staircase. In the one assigned to us, the shower and the WC were so close to each other that one could not avoid wetting everything while taking a showher. Despite the outside temperature of 9°C, we could not find out how to switch the heating on. Moreover, around 2:30 am we heard loud voices coming from outside the room. All in all, overpriced and below standards.

A small guesthouse in Leipingdong, in the upper floor of a shop. The room is very modern, clean, the lady is very friendly. They also gave us some milk and croissant when we arrived.

Hotel owners are very friendly and will help to take luggage to the room due to the stair there being limited spaces, The room is clean and you can order and eat at the hotel restaurant, The food portion is big and tasty.

Very handy location right in front of the car park at Leidongping. Right at the start of the climb to Jingding. Owner was very helpful. Room was clean, warm and comfortable.
