Das Spritzenhaus

What a wonderful hotel. It was recommended by a local friend in Eltville for a long weekend. I was given the penthouse and it is just beautiful. It’s a huge room with the most amazing furniture and bathroom. It has the biggest sofa I’ve ever seen. Lots of different lighting to choose from and a long thin balcony with chairs and a table overlooking the square. There is a large wardrobe area which contained seat covers for the outside chairs as well as a couple of pairs of sunglasses and extra bedding etc. Lots of small attention to details. There is a small fridge in the room as well as a coffee machine. The bed is huge and very comfortable. There is a welcome brochure, I think, on the desk, it is only in German so if you cannot speak/read German, as I can’t, then you will have no idea what it says. Luckily the owners spoke great English, I did try my years old German but I failed miserably. The breakfast area on the ground floor is as lovely as the penthouse. I love the individually patterned chairs. The food is delicious. You are given some cheese which the owners produce themselves from their cows on the hills and locally produced meats. You can choose different styles of eggs. The eggs with herbs, cheese and tomatoes is definitely recommended and now a favourite of mine. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I was due to take a train to Frankfurt airport but they were all cancelled on the day. The owner phoned a few taxi firms and found someone he knew, Sammy, who was reasonable and also very friendly. They made that much easier for me. I recommend staying at this hotel and I’ll be back next year. Thank you for a lovely and comfortable stay.

My first time staying here but not my last🤩. Very atypical hotel - converted old firehouse in the heart of Eltville. But remodeled to one of the coolest, high tech, and very comfortable lodgings in walking distance to most city locations. Underground parking convenient and worth it. Small bistro in the entry level is great for the breakfast with cheeses and meats made by the Fam on their eco farm. Marc & his father are always available and very helpful. My tower suite was well worth the slightly higher room rate - and was a really unique & comfortable space for me. 12 meter long balcony overlooking the square was great👍. A little narrow but so nice in the late afternoon watching folks & furry friends walking through. I’d give them 6 stars if possible - Great job Marc🎉

Sehr schönes kleines Hotel mitten in der Innenstadt von Eltville. Wir hatten das Komfort-Zimmer und waren damit mehr als zufrieden. Alles auf dem Zimmer was man benötigt. Sauber und geräumig. Wir konnten bereits um 12 Uhr aufs Zimmer. Ein sehr großes Plus!!! Frühstück sehr lecker. Kein Buffet, aber man kann immer nachbestellen.

Leider keine persönliche Begrüßung bei Ankunft, man muss sich alle Informationen erlesen. Ein herzliches Willkommen wäre nett gewesen! Zimmer sehr klein, enges Bad, dafür ruhig gelegen. Beim Frühstück wird zwar freundlich auf alle Wünsche eingegangen, aber es ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, wenn man jede Kleinigkeit erbitten muss. Tipp: ein System, bei dem der Gast am Vortag die Frühstückswünsche anhand einer umfangreichen Liste ankreuzen kann ist auch für den Gastgeber entspannter und mit deutlich weniger Rennerei verbunden! Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Nettes Hotel, sehr zentral und ruhig gelegen, sowohl zur Altstadt wie auch zum Bahnhof. Zimmer Nr. 5 mit großem Bad. Tolles Frühstück mit regionalen Produkten und eigenem Käse wunderbar am Tisch serviert. Freundliches Personal.

Wir hatten sehr schöne Zimmer, zweckmäßig und modern eingerichtet. W-Lan kostenfrei vorhanden. Besonders hervorragend ist das Frühstück zu erwähnen, tolle Auswahl und nachhaltig. Leider ist das Hotel dauernd ausgebucht, aber das sagt ja auch alles zur Qualität.

Zum einzigen Fenster des Zimmers Nr. 3 kommen sie nur über das Bett, da eine Betonsäule im Weg steht. Es läßt sich nur halb öffnen, dann stößt es an das Bettgestell. Auch ihre Knie stoßen an die Duschkabine, sollten sie die Toilette benutzen( bei einer Körpergröße von 1,70). Bei meiner Anreise am 27.06.22 konnte ich den anwesenden Mitarbeiter nur mit Engelszungen davon überzeugen mich einzulassen und das von meiner Freundin gebuchte Zimmer aufzuschließen. Sie hatte "meinen" Zimmerschlüssel dussligerweise an sich genommen und schon mal das Städtchen erkundet. Alles sehr unglücklich!! Leider macht das gute Frühstück, der freundliche und flexible Service diesen ersten Eindruck nicht wett. Der baumlose Platz vor dem Hotel wirkt übrigens wie ein Trichter, der sämtliche Geräusche verstärkt.

Sehr angenehmes kleines Hotel Garni im Ortszentrum. Feine Zimmer. Parken am Haus. Aber - hier wird Nachhaltigkeit und Regionalitaet echt gelebt. Das Frühstück fantastisch. Alles frisch und aus der Region. Am Tisch serviert. Toll. Immer wieder gerne.
