I’ve been Pas a dozen times over the years and stayed at perhaps 6-8 apartments and hotels.in this time. I was here in Dec and stayed just 100m away in another hotel. So, if you’ve not been Pas, once you enter the town where this hotel is immediately located, it’s a 10-15min walk to the slops in a slight up hill. They have lockers but I would suggest hire a locker at slope side so the walk up is easier. My teenage kids and myself done this daily, as did I in December with friends in their 50+60s and it makes life a lot easier. Parking can be done immediately outside for 9.95 daily BUT you need the exact coin and shop will not help. Alternatively 100m behind the hotel is the swimming pool and main car park, which costs around 25 a day and can be left overnight etc. there are other parking places with similar costs around town. The rooms are typical ski hotel rooms. Free water bottles, shower gel, hairdryer and TV (only 3 English news channels) so kids won’t be happy…if you can get them off their phones. Our window overlooked the main road but you can’t hear noise and with the sun coming through we actually had it open from time to time. The kids had a rear room looking at a wall. The reception has seating for perhaps 20 with a bar. Walking through this is a much large seating area of the restaurant. We had breakfast included which there is a standard buffet to choose from. Coffee machine, fresh orange juice, simple fruits, meats-cheese, breads and fried egg-bacon-beans. They do a 18euro buffet dinner which we did look at, but it maybe had 10 choices and was not appealing on the eye, so we chose to eat out. It’s a decent hotel, clean and spacious. I had 2 “observations” we returned one day and the room had not been made up! But they had taken all of our towels. When we reported it, it was solved in 2 mins with the towels but not made the bed or replaced toilet rolls, motives bins, the other room was fine. The cooked breakfast is a low quality, boiled eggs one day that were cold…cold, fried eggs still having uncooked white in them, hotdog (sausages) over cooked which I think is light fried and the worse…scrambled egg, this was broken fried egg at a guess. The reason for being poor, being it was dry but covered in cooking oil. Please be advised, scrabbled egg is not fried and should be moist (at least in England). The dropping of the star, is cook food quality and the room cleaning - although only one day. You won’t get Mountain View’s, unless you lean out and have the front rooms but plenty of shops 100m away, slopes 600m away, main bars and restaurants 500m
