"This was our second stay, most recently in April for 10 days. We felt very comfortable from the start. All the staff and the Steudle family are very friendly and accommodating. You're always greeted with a smile. You feel warmly welcomed and at ease. Requests are promptly fulfilled. The rooms and the entire hotel are beautifully furnished and inviting. "This review actually has two parts. The first part belongs to the hotel and the second to the restaurant opposite. But since they belong together, this review naturally does too. The hotel was, as always, very good. Unfortunately, this does not apply to the brewery restaurant. The Brauhaus Schwanen is losing my popularity more and more. I had already complained about the breakfast on my first visit many years ago. Normally warm ingredients such as sausages, bacon and scrambled eggs were ice cold. The orange juice comes from a bottle and the service is not exactly friendly. In short, if you've experienced this before, you only eat breakfast here because you have no other choice. Unfortunately, the evening meal has also gone downhill extremely. For example, the hamburger was completely cold and the buns tasted as if they were several days old. We were the only guests who stayed the whole evening. Many of the other guests left the restaurant after just 30 minutes. Often all that was left were half-empty plates and almost full beer glasses. The only criticism I can have of the hotel itself is that almost everything costs extra. Even a minibar is only available if you pay for the entire contents (flat rate). Otherwise there is nothing to complain about. Cleanliness and service are very good. However, due to the restaurant and the constantly bad breakfast, this was my last visit. There are now other good beer hotels with a considerable selection of craft beers."

"En junio de 2025, como invitados a una boda, hemos reservado una habitación de hotel para la noche. La hospitalidad fue excelente y nos permitió agradablemente utilizar la piscina antes de nuestra entrada oficial. El área de piscina es muy atractiva y contribuye mucho a la relajación personal y a la atmósfera de bienestar. La limpieza de la habitación y el desayuno buffet tampoco permiten abrazar sus deseos. Yo me quedaría aquí en cualquier momento sin duda."

"Great, quiet hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Modernly furnished rooms, clean bathroom with rain shower, large TV, queen-size bed. The spa area is also good. Bio sauna (with essential oils), Finnish sauna, infrared sauna, steam room (unfortunately not working), small outdoor area for relaxing (balcony with artificial turf). Only the view of the surrounding houses could be nicer. Maybe we'll come back for one of the beer brewing courses they offer. Who knows?!?! :-D"

"The rooms are adequate, a little dated, but clean and therefore absolutely OK. The service, on the other hand, leaves a lot to be desired. At dinner in the restaurant, you sometimes had to wait a long time for drinks, and even after the food was served, you were not asked regularly. The salmon was very dry and the overall quality was not particularly good. The meat, on the other hand, was perfectly cooked. Requests for changes at short notice were vehemently rejected. Afterwards, everything was done to meet the requests, which was successful, but the initial reaction still sticks. I can also only confirm the cancellation conditions, which have already been mentioned several times here. In a group of almost 40 people, we had 3 last-minute cancellations due to illness and were also charged for breakfast and dinner. When we asked, the response was very unfriendly and we were referred to the terms and conditions, which are also different to those of BW Germany."
