I have used the Edgeware premier inn about 4 times in March. I live in Devon and my wife is at Stanmore hospital where she has a cancer wrapped around her spinal cord. The beauty of the location is that it is 2 miles away from the hospital where she is receiving treatment. The first 3 visits, it was with myself and my wife requiring pre-operative assessments. The fourth visit was when she had the operation and I checked in. The guy at check in said "back with us again, sir. Just you not your wife," Obviously at a very emotional time, I had to push down my feelings and said "no." And a brief explanation, he didn't ask I just felt I needed to explain her absence. The fact that this gentleman over that time period had probably seen many people, he took the time to welcome a regular for the duration of this difficult time. He helped me with various things to make the last stay flow easier. I am back there, at the time of writing 3rd April, to go and see my wife for our wedding anniversary on the 4th April. So could I take this opportunity to recognise the staff at Edgeware, but in particular Siraj, he was amazing at a difficult time.
