Winnetu is a 3-minutes' walk from South Beach and 3.2 mi from Main Street, Edgartown via resort shuttle bus or bike path. The resort seasonally offers 2 heated swimming pools, a health club, a complimentary children’s program, a complimentary tennis courts on-site and an on-site restaurant, The Dunes.
The Resort offers a selection of 1-4 bedroom suites, studios and cottages. Select rooms feature a kitchenette. Each room features cable TV, a private bathroom and air conditioning. They are decorated in crisp bright colors. All rooms have free WiFi. There is free parking on-site.
An outdoor hot tub, yoga, fitness center, concierge services, optional shuttle to ferries, shuttles to downtown Edgartown and massage services are available. Seasonal weekly clambakes, lighthouse and kayak tours, sunset cruise to Edgartown, bike rentals and day or overnight trips to our sister resort on Nantucket are also offered.
The on-site restaurant, The Dunes, overlooks South Beach and offers indoor and deck seating with fire pits and ocean views.

This resort is a very special place on Martha's Vineyard. It embodies the term "happy place". We have been at least a dozen times and keep going back because the staff make it so relaxing and enjoyable from the moment you get there. There are shuttles back and forth to town, an amazing restaurant, fun bartenders who are happy to chat about all things local. The kids camp (although my grown children don't go anymore) is so much fun!

What a true gem! The hotel is lovely and the staff is as gracious and accommodating as anywhere I’ve ever visited. Tim Benoit goes out of his way to make your trip picture perfect! Strongly recommend you find a few days to visit this special spot!

We had an amazing trip to this property. The rooms were comfortable- we had two kids and one had a pullout couch while the other had a Murphy bed. It was great to have those options. The amenities were nice and the resort felt safe and comfortable for our kids to wander. The most lovely part for us were the helpfulness of the concierges Tim and Angela, who helped us plan some epic island exploration days. Their advice and help made our stay much better! We enjoyed the clambake our last night. The food was just ok, but they had singers come and the kids all played so the ambience was fun.

The most family oriented wonderful resort I have stayed at! The staff and service were top notch. The rooms were spacious and bright. We loved our balcony overseeing the lawn with the games for kids like bags, soccer, and firefly catching! The was terrific and not separate for adults and family creating a great energy and vibe for all. And the pool restaurant was yummy too! We absolutely loved our stay at the Winnetu.

The Winnetu was everything we hoped for in a Martha’s Vineyard getaway — gorgeous, inviting, and luxurious without ever feeling stuffy. The rooms are spacious and cozy, the grounds are beautifully kept, and the private path straight to South Beach is hard to beat. But what really sets it apart is the atmosphere. It’s upscale, but totally relaxed. Whether you’re lounging by the pool or digging into a clambake on the lawn, it feels like a classy summer escape without any of the fuss. The staff couldn’t be friendlier, always ready with a great dinner spot or a must-try island activity. It’s the perfect mix of Vineyard charm and effortless luxury.

We have been coming to the Winnetu for 5 years as a family and it is our absolute favorite place! It is SO family-friendly, the kids camp is so fun for the kids and allows for parents to get a real break. The location, pool, staff, and the amenities are all top notch. Best place ever!

We had a lovely family adventure at Winnetu! We stayed for 7 nights with our two boys (6 & 10) and a set of grandparents. The room we stayed in at the main resort was spacious, well appointed, and very clean. Our boys loved tennis with Coach Cliff, had a blast with the team at the morning camps, and enjoyed every minute at the pools. The staff was accommodating all-around and we found experiences to engage in throughout the week. The drivers for the shuttle tow Edgartown were wonderful and the offer is extremely convenient. The water taxi to Edgartown one evening was 100% worth it as well! Cookies, s'mores, beach time, pool time, relaxed vibes, and a kind staff at the resort ready to help when you need it. What more could you ask for in a Martha's vineyard getaway:)

We stayed at the Winnetu last summer for the first time and couldn't wait to come back. It's an extremely warm staff who go out of their way to make your trip memorable. It's wonderful for little kids as they have things such as: afternoon cookies and lemonade, nightly rides on antique trucks, boat rides into Edgartown, games/pool etc. It's a place we always want to stay longer.

We stayed in a two room suite at the resort. The room was directly across from the elevator and very noisy. In addition our porch was shared with the room next door by a divider. The couple next door had a baby crying 24/7 and was very loud. Not their fault. But the resort should disclose if rooms have a shared space for guests before booking. Food options very limited on property to one restaurant with limited hours. We left a night early due to so many sleepless nights. Happy to be home and not on vacation anymore.
