An excellent location if you are visiting Hever Castle Very welcoming and the rooms are very good with a contemporary feel. Dinner and service were excellent and a hearty breakfast in the morning. Good car parking, On the face of it a little expensive for dinner but excellent food ! Overall a lovely stay !

A lovely, friendly restaurant with rooms close to Hever Castle and well placed for exploring this part of Kent and all that it has to offer. We stayed for one night in room number 4, a comfortable ground floor room that opens onto the garden where we sat and enjoyed a coffee in peaceful surroundings. The owner was very welcoming and made us feel at home. We dined in the restaurant and were impressed with the food, the intimate atmosphere and the good choices of both food and wines. Breakfast the following morning offered a good choice and was very enjoyable. It’s somewhere we’d definitely choose to stay again.

We had the best time here. The couple that own The Greyhound are absolutely lovely. There attention to detail in making sure we had a great stay was spot on. We have just spent two nights here. It is honestly the best bed and breakfast I have ever had the pleasure in staying. Our room was beautiful. Our breakfast was spot on. I am a vegetarian and they catered so well for us. We met with another couple there and we were all very happy staying here. We had a three course meal on the first evening there and it was beautifully cooked and timed. We were here for a wedding at Chafford Park, it was ideally placed but it is always wise to book taxis and rooms well in advance to save disappointment because this area seems to have several wedding location very close together. The owners offered anything we required, including an iron and ironing board. They have everything we needed. Minus the aeroplanes, this area is so peaceful, in such a beautiful location. The garden is lovely and it is surrounded by the beautiful countryside of Edenbridge. We plan a return visit to meet with family and I am definitely going book here again and recommend it to my other relatives joining us next time. We was placed in room 3 from the 6th to the 8th of September 2024.

Beautiful inn located less than a Mile from Hever Castle. Room is gorgeous with a nice little patio to enjoy the view and the weather. There are several footpaths to take strolls past St Peter’s of Hever and the entrance to Hever Castle as well as going through town. Can eat any meal in the restaurant. We are doing that in the morning. Definitely recommend. The owner is lovely and was extremely hospitable.

Only one negative. My room on the ground floor smelled musty, like water damage. Otherwise, everything was just fine. The dinner was excellent as was breakfast. There was convenient parking for the car. Quiet country location. We had hoped to use the public footpath to walk to Hever but due to recent rains, it was very muddy. Unfortunately there was no other place for walking just outside the inn as the road was narrow without sidewalks. The inn is not in a village.

Very friendly and welcoming owners, nothing too much trouble. Coded access when restaurant is closed. Great food (both breakfast and evening meal. Well equipped rooms, good views, quiet area. Excellent location for Hever Castle. Stayed for three nights and would definitely recommend.

We recently stayed at this lovely place just wanted to share our experience. We did book this several months ago on the basis it had a bar so we could sit in the evenings to have a drink but we found there is no longer a bar. After speaking to the owners they are in the process of changing it from a pub into a B&B. Do not let this put you off as this an amazing B&B, the owners were exceptional in their service and friendly. The room (room 2) was very clean and well set out. The bathroom was also very clean and spacious, the only issue we had with this was the door was a bit squeaky when opening. We had lovely views over the fields. The bed is very low but unfortunately for me the mattress was too soft, after having back surgery it was a bit of a struggle, however this would not stop me for staying again. The bedding was lovely. We had a separate entrance which was great as we tended to be out most of the evening in the local pub. Breakfast was wonderful, always topping up tea and coffee and extra toast when requested. It really set us up for the day ahead. We also had a meal on our first evening to find the food was exceptional. Thank you to the owners for making us feel so welcome, we hope to return one day when we are back visiting Kent. Please do give this place a try you will not be disappointed.

Staying & dining here is a most enjoyable experience. Service is friendly and attentive. Rooms are a delight with a comfortable bed, excellent bathroom, nice view over the garden & fields beyond, quiet location and nice chairs in the room so you don't have to sit on the bed to watch tv. Everything about The Greyhound is faultless including the lovely dinner & breakfast. Their professionalism shows through at every level. We are so glad we discovered this place & will definitely return.

Walking between Hever Castle and the site that we are camping in, we came across this lovely pub. We were given a very warm and friendly welcome even though we had not made a booking for dinner. We had an extremely delicious main meal of dressed crab and liver and Bacon. Service was friendly and very efficient. The atmosphere and decor in the pub was very calming after a very busy yet wonderful day at Hever Castle. The lady who greeted us and served us the whole evening was very professional and incredibly friendly and fun to chat to.
