The New England

I stayed at The New England overnight whilst visiting Family and Friends in Eastbourne. Audrey was very friendly and and accommodating and called me by name at ll times which immediately put me at ease and made me feel welcome. The room was clean and tidy and I had a great night's sleep even though I don't usually sleep well the first night in a new place. The breakfast was great (see pictures) and I would definitely book again for my future visits to Eastbourne.

A lovely stay at this B&B. Great location, very clean with good facilities. We felt very looked after by Audrey and enjoyed a lovely breakfast. Would definitely recommend this B&B and hope to be back ...................................

I'm often guilty of pre-judging 'Guesthouses' and expecting a certain, generally low level of accommodation and service - how wrong could I be about the New England. The welcome and attention to detail from Audrey and Michelle is second to none and the bedrooms show a level of thought and care has been put into them, spotlessly clean, and with great towels and range of toiletries and where many skimp on the quality of the mattress and beds that is not the case at the New England - very comfortable and and a great nights sleep. Breakfast is fabulous with a great selection, all really well cooked (Poached Eggs to perfection) and endless cafetières of coffee. If you're coming down to Eastbourne I would wholeheartedly recommend checking out The New England - it'll exceed your expectations!!

We have just returned from the New England guest house. We have stayed in many Hotels and guest houses over the years, but we have never stayed in one so impeccably clean and comfortable. Andri our host welcomed us on arrival and helped to make our stay outstanding. We highly recommend the New England should you wish to stay in Eastbourne for a few days. Oh, and I forgot to mention the excellent breakfast. We are already planning our next visit.

We had a lovely welcome, the room was spotless and decorated beautifully. The whole Hotel was clean and beautiful. Comfy beds and toiletries. Breakfast was tasty, cooked to perfection, a good choice of cooked and cold food. The view of the sea from our balcony. Hospitality second to none.

What a charming little establishment. Looking for a quaint place to stay in Eastbourne, you are going to be hard pressed to go past The New England. Welcomed by Adri we were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. There was nothing left undone to ensure that our stay met our needs. Our room was clean and comfortable, while some might find it a bit small, it met our needs nicely. Breakfast each morning set us up well for the day of adventuring that lay ahead. Just don’t be in a hurry to get away early as the breakfast experience is another opportunity where Adri is determined to have all guests satisfied. While street parking may be a little inconvenient there are plenty of spaces available nearby. It is worth noting that there a number of local eating places within walking distance for dinner in the evening
