We have visited the Victoria Hotel several times since it’s reopened for dining. We have had fantastic service and the food is outstanding. Delicious local meat , crispy roast potatoes and perfectly cooked vegetables. Extra gravy too!! Excellent cask ales and plenty of keg beer to choose from. This is a proper pub with a relaxed , friendly atmosphere.

It’s been a while waiting but now Brownie has got the kitchen open again this place will take off . Had a Sunday roast and it was beautiful. Belly of pork . Meat cooked to perfection as were the veggies and roast potatoes, all topped of with a super rich gravy. It was a pleasure to sample this food in such nice surroundings with one of my favourite beers on draught . This pubs decor is all part of the attraction from the red phone box in the corner to the collection of Toby jugs on the window sill . Staff are friendly and welcoming as you enter the pub and eager for you to enjoy your experience and cater for your needs . Try it for yourselves, you won’t be disappointed.
