Premier Inn Eastbourne Town Centre

Stayed 1 night in May 25 Good - easy check in experience, good check in staff, room warm, room clean with no odours, decent enough evening meal at downstairs internal restaurant, did not have breakfast so can’t comment, good waiting on staff Bad - nothing of note

The Pros: Staff were friendly and accomodating when asked about things (like getting into breakfast a little earlier than booked when there was room for me) Ultimate WiFi was easy to set up and use. I appreciated that the reception was manned all night, I felt a lot more secure with that. The room was spacious for one (or two) person(s) and the furnishings were comfortable with plenty of space to put things (shelves, big drawer, hanging rail). I also appreciated the different types of lighting as I like a lower level of light in the evening. The Cons: There was no opening window, no fan and no air conditioning so it was a VERY hot first night in a heatwave. The heating fan didn't appear to do anything so I don't know if it was broken or just didn't come on because it was too hot. Black gunk was in the plug hole on arrival and it became quickly apparent that it bubble out of the bath plug after anyone had finished having a shower. Seems like it needs a deep clean. Some of the hangers were missing from the rail. The hairdryer is quite frankly horrible because you have to hold it in a certain spot for it to turn on, and I have really thick hair which takes a long time to dry so holding it that way for so long was quite painful.

Staff was brilliant, definitely 5*, such a warm welcome, they were so nice with the kids my teenager son asked me to write this review!! They were brilliant finding options for the meal they like, special art material and space, funny, we never had such good experience in the UK, my kids loved the experience.

The room and the hotel were great, the ridiculous piss taking offers are enough to put you off forever. I have booked 5 visits to the Congress Theatre, having booked 2 stays at the Premier Inn, my next stay was over Easter, and it was much cheaper to stay at the 5 star The View than the Premier Inn, with breakfast included. It appears the more you stay at Premier Inn the more they take the piss out of you. But why worry no one ever reads these reviews.

Nice hotel. Close to the town centre and the pier. Close to restaurants and other attractions. Clean and nice hotel with friendly staff and comfortable beds. The restaurant in the hotel is very good and is great value. The staff are always happy to help. The hotel is very clean.
